Only Time can Tell

“What took you so long, Canadian?” I yelled when Chris finally got downstairs. Me, him and five others were crowded around with the Ouija Board on it.

“Do we have everything?” Kelly asked.

“Yup. Candles, Ouija Board, cross necklaces. Everything we need.” I replied.

“Who should we bring back?” Kane asked.

“Mary, the little girl talked about on Mindfreak episodes.” I said instantly.

“Alright. Sounds good.” Zack Ryder said as I passed Sheamus and Alex Riley crosses.

“Do not take these off.” They nodded and put them while I did the same. “Everyone join hands.” We did so. “Bow your heads; I need to light the candles.” I broke away, light the candles around the room and came back to my spot taking Kelly and Zack’s hand. “Do not break hands.”

“Let's do this!” Chris said.

“Mary. We know you are here Mary. May you please show yourself?” I said softly. The wind chimes in the corner tinkled. I shut my eyes tight. “Mary sweet Mary. We mean no harm at all.”

“I know you mean no harm.” A little girl’s voice said. Everyone gasped.

“Mary, it was a woman who killed you, right?” Jericho asked with his tone like mine. Quiet and confident.

“Yes and now you will suffer like I did!” The girls voice became angry and I felt and odd clench inside my stomach.

“Everyone out!” I screamed breaking hands. The candles went out as everyone fled, plunging me into total darkness.

“Someone call 911! Turn the lights on!” Kelly yelled. The lights turned on but I was unaware, I wasn’t myself.

“Holy shit! Her eyes are rolled back in her head!” Kane yelled.

“Paramedics are on the way!” Zack called.

“Why the hell is she floating upside down?!”

“She’s possessed dumb fuck!” Sheamus said. I pushed my way through the group trying to get away.

“Mary I’m sorry! I had no idea you were tortured like this!”

“Whoa chicka! Are you talking to yourself?” Rey asked looking at me oddly.

“She died a horrible death!” I broke down sobbing and fell to the floor.

“Calm down Sasha. Everything’s going to be okay.” He said kneeling by me, rubbing my back.

“No she won’t! She died!” I sobbed.

“Do you want me to call Lila?” He asked. I nodded. He flipped his phone open and dialed her number.

“Hey Lila! Get your ass downstairs, Sasha REALLY needs you…Uh huh…Yeah, she got possessed.” He flipped shut his phone shut. “She’s coming, it’ll be okay.”

“No it won’t! She was killed for no reason Rey!” I sobbed. I felt Mary’s spirit leave me. I could feel myself blacking out/

“What happened!?” Lila exclaimed when she got to us.

“She was possessed, don’t ask me how.” Rey replied.

“That damn Ouija Board! Sasha, I told you not to mess with it! Is anyone else hurt or possessed?” She asked.

“Mary was hurt.” I whispered.

“Sasha, Mary is gone. She was murdered a long time ago.” She said gently. I sat up quickly.

“Lila! You don’t understand! I felt her pain, she suffered horribly.” I cried.

“I know. Calm down. We’re going to get you some help.” She said.
