"Scarlett, baby, please! I'm sorry I tickled you, please don't be mad at me," he said as he wrapped his arms around me from behind and pulled me into him so I couldn't continue walking. "I'm really sorry, ok?" He whispered with a kiss to my cheek.

Honestly, I'm a mess on the inside. He called me baby, he kissed my cheek, he's hugging me from behind?!? What more could a girl want tbh. This is life goals. I can't keep the act up any longer, not after that.

"I wasn't mad," I started laughing and turned to face him, leaning my cheek against his chest as he hugged me yet again. He might pretend to be all tough and punk but he's literally the cuddliest person I've ever met. Like a tall, muscular teddy bear, but better because he's Calum and not some small, cheap stuffed animal.

"What do mean you weren't mad?" He questioned in disbelief, pulling away from the hug.

"I mean I was just joking, but I accept your apology anyways," I gave an innocent grin.

"You little- ," he gasped. "I can't believe you!"

"Well, believe it. Also, we walked past where we were headed, so we have to go about ten yards in the opposite direction."

"Where is it?"

"The playground."

"How did I not guess that we'd be stopping there sometime tonight?" He laughed at me and grabbed my hand, leading me to the playground.

"I know right? I'm so disappointed in you, Calum."

"You know what, Scarlett?"

"Oh look, we're here," I said to change the subject. He just rolled his eyes and smiled as I brought us to the swings. I would've usually just run to them as soon as I walked in, but let's be real, I did not want to let go of his hand. At all.

"Will you push me on the swing, Cal?" I stuck my lower lip out to pout at him.

"Are you serious?"

"Please?" I asked, pushing my lip out even further and making my eyes slightly bigger.

He sighed at my pouting face and agreed, "Fine. But only if I can go on after."

"Don't worry, you just have to get me started and then you can go on the one next to me."

He grabbed the seat of the swing I was sitting on and pulled me backwards, then let me go as I swung forward. He continued pushing on my back for another ten minutes before walking to the swing next to mine and taking a seat on it. I couldn't help but notice that he wasn't swinging though, just sitting on his swing and watching me move back and forth.

"Are you gonna start sometime today or ?"

"Huh? Oh, um yeah. Sorry I just zoned out a bit."

"I noticed," I laughed. I started dragging my feet on the ground so I could stop and sit beside Calum, looking directly at his face while we spoke. "What were you thinking about?"

"Do you really want to know?"

"I wouldn't have asked if I didn't."
