When Luke and I got to Sky's room, Avery and my sister, Evie, were already there. Sky was wide-awake and had a confused expression on her face. "Sky! Thank god your ok," I ran up to the bed. Sky was about to say something, but I interrupted her. "I'm so sorry this happened to you, Sky. I shouldn't have let you go to get your textbook. None of this would've happened if it weren't for me. I love you so much Sky!" I didn't care that I was crying. Sky reached up with her bruised arm and touched my face.
"Dan, this isn't your fault. I don't remember anything past the point where I got into class. If anything it's my fault for forgetting my textbook. What happened anyway?" I looked at Sky in shock. "You don't remember anything?" I asked her, surprised. She shook her head cautiously. "Alright, so you remember your conversation with Trevor?" She nodded at that. "He was really angry about it." I frowned at her response. "After that you went to math class. You asked me if you could go to your locker for your textbook and I said yes so you went. You were taking a really long time so I send Avery to look for you. She eventually came back with only your phone. After that we went searching for you and I heard a noise from the janitors closet. You screamed and," I ran a hand over my teary face. The images of the day before played in my head. I took a deep breath and began again
"You screamed and I broke in to find Trevor on top of you without anything on. You had your legs crossed, but you were bleeding out of your head and passed out. I beat the crap out of him before he could go through with what he wanted to do. He's currently recovering from the injuries that I caused him and your mother is pressing rape charges on him. Not to mention that he did actually attack you." Sky was shocked and couldn't say anything. I could only imagine what was going through her head. I could have left details out, but I know Sky wanted the truth so I gave it to her. She seemed to pause for a while and look at nothing.
Sky
I was shocked. I couldn't even say anything. Trevor had tried to rape me? Thank god Dan was there in time or he would've succeeded. A quick memory came to my head from the janitors' closet.
"You little bitch!" Trevor yelled and pulled my hair back with so much force that I smashed into the wall on the other side of the janitor's closet. I instantly started to feel dizzy and weak. I slumped down to the floor and sobbed. "There we go. Now you won't be able to get away from me," Trevor said and I heard him unzip his pants. I kept sobbing and praying that a janitor would come in here for something. "Are you ready to have the time of your life, Baby?" Trevor asked my slyly. I tried to say no, but my voice was killing me from the screaming and crying.
"Are you alright?" Evie asked, which made me snap out of my memory. "Y-yeah. I just remembered something," I stuttered. I looked at Dan and squeezed his hand. "Thank you for saving me," I said before I began to fall asleep again. "You guys can go if you want. I have to talk to her when she wakes up anyway," I heard Dan say before I was completely pulled into sleep.

When I woke up Dan was looking at me sadly. "What's wrong?" I questioned. Dan kept looking at me for at least another minutes before he took a deep breath. "Michael Edwards knows about us," he stated. I sat up quickly in surprise, but cringed as my head started to throb. "Lay down, Sky. I don't want anything else to happen," he said and slowly lowered me into my pillow. "What did he say?" I stammered, afraid of what his answer would be.
"He promised me that he wouldn't tell, but he said that we need stop seeing each other until after graduation. There are only a few months left until the end of the school year and I don't want anything else bad happening. I don't want to risk you getting in trouble or having a bad appearance for dating me. I couldn't care less if I lost my job, but that would mean not seeing you so I don't want to risk anything else. You're way too important to me to risk it anymore," he said sadly. I didn't realize that he had grabbed onto my hand during his little speech. I just wanted to cry and disagree with him, but deep down I knew it was the best idea.
