BY THE TIME THE sun came up the next morning, Kenna, Zach and Gray were already wide-awake. It was difficult to find time to sleep properly given the situation, so every person only managed two hours each, all at different times. When Zach was sure everybody was awake properly, he looked down at Kenna, who was leant up against the same wall as him with her head resting on his shoulder. Her hair had completely dried from her jump off of the cliff, and her eyes were blinking slowly, usually only half-opening. "Are you ready?" Zach asked, looking from his best friend over at Gray, who was sitting up in the back seat of the Jeep with bleary, tired eyes. His curly dark blonde hair was matted across his forehead, and Gray didn't have the energy to push it away from his face.

"Ready." He confirmed, rubbing his eyes and finally pushing his hair away before making a move to get out of the Jeep in order to help Zach fix the old car. Zach nodded and looked over at Kenna, who had to take her head off of his shoulder so that he could go fix the car. She was reluctant because the last thing she wanted to do was let go of Zach. But, with a quick kiss to Zach's clothed shoulder, Kenna raised her head and stood up, helping her best friend up afterwards. Zach smiled up at her; taking her hands in his and letting her haul him to his feet.

"Let's do this." She said with a forced smile, stretching out her legs and brushing her fingers through Gray's hair as a sign of endearment. Zach and Gray got back to work soon as Kenna took off Zach's blue zip-up hoodie, setting it on the floor as the humid air was making her hot.

Despite all of Kenna's smarts and talents, she was never really good with practical work, so fixing cars were way out of her territory. She couldn't wrap her head around the mechanics of the car, which sometimes made people stereotype Kenna as a complete 'girl'. Still, she helped with whatever she should and mostly helped keep Gray's mind off of the current situation by speaking to him about anything but dinosaurs.

It was a large number of hours later that Zach wiped his hands on a nearby cloth before setting it down, sighing. "Alright," Zach said, leaning back from where he stood previously, wiping the sweat off of his upper lip with his arm before placing both hands on his hips. "Turn it over," he ordered Gray, who was seated in the driver's seat of the Jeep as he turned over the key, successfully turning on the engine of the old Jeep. The roar of the motor had to be the most incredible thing Kenna had ever heard.

"It works!" Gray exclaimed in glee and Zach cheered, closing the front of the Jeep before hitting it twice in elation. Gray jumped into the back seat as Kenna remained in the passenger seat she had been placed in before, watching as Zach perfected the car's engine. Zach sat down on the driver's seat before closing the door behind him with a bang and turning over to send a quick wink at Kenna.

"Zach," Kenna said cautiously, realising the situation, as Zach got comfortable in front of the steering wheel. "Can you even drive?" Zach nodded his head but Gray knew, who better than to just believe his older brother (that had a habit of doing things he wasn't supposed to), told Kenna the truth.

"I thought you failed your driver's test," Gray said knowingly, and Kenna raised an eyebrow at Zach, clearly already anticipating the answer. Zach had the decency to look a little sheepish before leaning over and kissing Kenna's forehead.

"Yeah I did..." Zach admitted, buckling himself in as he spoke in a naïve tone. "Only the driving part." he cracked a grin and Kenna lets out a small laugh despite the situation as Zach stepped on the gas pedal, sending the Jeep out of the garage and into the bright jungle.

If Kenna was being completely honest, she could sort of see why Zach failed his driver's test. His turns were choppy and quick, and driving through the forest seemed to be good for him, as he didn't have to stick to any type of road rules. But apart from all the things that Zach couldn't do; he understood the way the car worked and he knew how to use it. That much couldn't be said for Kenna.

It seemed like everything was going well as Zach raced through the woods and was soon making his way towards one of the gates of the Jurassic World park, which we knew as Zach drove through a metal gate.

"Okay, that's it," Zach said, sounding relieved as they were finally out of the forest. "We're safe now." He added, looking in the review mirror at Gray, before sending him a smile and looking back at the road in front of him.

Gray wasn't as amused. He looked behind him suddenly, eyes widened in shock or fear, Kenna didn't know which, and was suddenly in full panic-mode. "Go!" He shouted and Kenna turned around, seeing hundreds and hundreds of pterodactyls flying in the direction the Jeep was going in. If they didn't speed up, they'd be pterodactyl meals in a few short minutes.

"GO!" Kenna began yelling with Gray, repeating the words over and over again until Zach looked into his review mirror and noticed the flying dinosaurs making their way towards the Jeep speedily. He cursed under his breath before stepping on the gas pedal harder, causing the old car to speed up.

"Open the gates!" Kenna started yelling at the guards stationed on top of the large, grey cement walls that were the opening of the Jurassic World resorts and the end of the forest. There were two guards that seemed unsure of what to do, so Zach and Gray began shouting with Kenna; Zach using the car horn multiple times to emphasise their desperation. Kenna could see the guards' heads lolling up as the pterodactyls neared enough for them to see, and they knew there was no way that they would let those kids stay on that side of the park in the old Jeep.

The guards opened the gates for the Jeep and Kenna, Gray and Zach got out quickly before the guards were spoken to over communication devices, leaving the three teenagers to try and make a run for it before they were asked too many questions.

"I don't think so." A familiar British accent spoke and Kenna winced, before turning around with Gray and Zach to see Zara standing behind them, clutching her phone. "Your aunt is going to meet us here, at the West Wing." She announced; sounding irritated. "Now-" Zara let out a quiet yell of surprise, and Kenna guessed that she had seen all of the pterodactyls coming their way. "Never mind that, we need to go get you somewhere safe," Zara stated, but Kenna was sure that Zara only wanted to find a place that was safe for herself.

Still, she would take it. So everybody started jogging further away from the west gate and closer towards the park, where they were hoping the pterodactyls wouldn't be going. But when Kenna saw the main street, her breath was completely taken away. There were people; families with young kids or old grandparents, screaming in fear and attempting to take cover. Terror was the only thing Kenna saw, no matter what direction she looked in. And after everything that had happened to Kenna, Zach and Gray since they were in the Gyrosphere, Kenna didn't want to feel afraid like that ever again. But she was seeing it all around her.

A/N: Sorry for the crappy ending to the chapter, I had no idea how to finish it
