time skip to third period.
sidney pov:

I sit down at my assigned seat and grab out my science textbook.

hunter tries to be funny by throwing a paper airplane at my neck while Mrs.Baker isn't looking.

I turn to face him and shake my head before turning back around.

on the whiteboard are the page numbers we have to read in our textbooks.

I open my book and start flipping through the pages when the door opens loudly

a group of girls in the room gasp but I keep my focus on my book.

"sorry to interrupt Mrs.Baker but everyone meet max and harvey mills. they just moved here and will be joining us for the remainder of the year."

I keep reading my textbook,
i don't see all the fuss about these new kids. it's not like I truly care that two most likely snobby boys joined ridge middleton.

"I need someone to show them around, be their 'buddy' if you will."

I can feel a cold stare looking straight at me.

"sidney, how about you".

i pick my head up and sigh a little.

"of course Mr.Hanson"

I get up from my seat and walk out of the classroom as the boys follow.

I haven't even made eye contact with them yet, so I decided to turn around and face them as principal Hanson walks away.

I must admit they are pretty good looking.

"I'm sidney and you two are..."

they both look at each other puzzled.

"you don't know who we are?" one says with a cute accent.

I'm a sucker for accents, always have been.

I shrug "should I"

they both look at each other once again.

"I'm max"

then the other one follows up with "I'm harvey"
I grin and start walking down the hall

" sidney is a cute name" max says.

my cheeks turn a slight red but I pull myself together and i feel it fade away.

I basically hit everywhere in the school that max and harvey would need to know...
but I had one more spot left in mind.

"there's one more place I want to show you guys butttt it's kinda risky." I say as I smile innocently.

max grins at the idea and harvey looks shocked.

"no way. I'll meet you at lunch max."
he says as he walks to his locker that I had previously showed him during the tour.

" dont mind him." max says.
I nod and grab his wrist and drag him discretely into the janitors closet.

"you have to be completely silent."

he nods and I move some cleaning supplies to find the hidden door.

I open it and max gives me a look.

I walk into the pitch black room and max follows in behind.

I shut the door lightly and peek at the little hole in the wall.

I whisper "it looks into the teachers lounge"

he peeks into the hole and as if on cue the janitor's closet door opens.

me and max look at each other.

whoever just entered the room, had to have noticed the tampered with cleaning supplies on the ground.

the foot steps got closer to the hidden door and without thinking, I push max to the ground for cover.

I plop down next to him and cover his mouth with my hand. I can feel the smile forming on his face.

The person opened the door slightly, peeking in a little before shutting the door again.

I looked over at max, who was giving me the biggest smirk. I roll my eyes and remove my hands from his mouth.

"nice meeting you sidney."

" bad idea." I say standing up.

" I enjoyed it " max said with a grin.

I walk out of the room and max follows shortly after.

at that exact moment the bell rings and I jump a little.

" I have to go find harvey, but thanks for showing me around " max says with a wink.

" no problem. " I mumble after my breath before walking into the cafeteria
