{ midnight, sidney's bedroom }

i jumped onto my bed. i was wearing a big sweatshirt and shorts. i just finished my homework and i was pooped. i grabbed my phone from my charger.

perfect timing, max texted me.

m = max: s = sidney

m: hey we're going out to have some fun.

s: max. it's 12:05 what are you talking about go to sleep.

m: look out your window...

s: oh my god.

i turned my phone off and set it on the bed. i walked over to the side window in my room. i was on the second level but on the ground i saw max standing there with roses.

i turned to look at my door then looked back at max and opened my window.

" are you insane. " i said with a grin.

" very. now come on i have flowers. " max said waving the roses around.

" my cousin is coming tomorrow and i have to wake up early... " i replied.

" don't be a party pooper. " max said slightly turning his head to one side.

" you got me there mills. " i replied

i grabbed my black converse and slipped them on.

i climbed onto my roof and shut my window behind me. i jumped onto the garage roof and then onto the ground. i lost my balance and fell onto my butt.

" smooth. " max said helping me up.

" and she sticks the landing " i say standing up.

max laughs and pulls a piece of grass out of my hair.

" i know a spot. " max said pulling me along.

" why am i scared. " i asked.

" you should be. " he replied.

" just kidding it's fine. " max said finishing his sentence.

max covered my eyes. just like he did when he took me onto the roof of the old building.

max moved his hands to reveal a little cove. it was blocked off from everything only tress to surround it.

" woahhh " i said walking towards the water.

max followed behind me.

" it's so pretty " i said sitting down on the sand.

max sat next to me and i sat my head on his shoulder.

" you're a really great guy mills. " i said with a smile.

" you're a really great girl sidney " max replied smiling back.
