sidney pov:

I walk into the girls locker room and change into shorts and a nike shirt.

I also put my hair in a high ponytail and
walk out into the gym.

ashley walks up from behind me and I smile.

she glances at something to the side of me.

I look at her confused

"what are you looking at?" she grins at me

" the max mills is looking at you my friend" she says
I roll my eyes.

" oh my is he really looking at me, I don't think I'm worthy for that kind of a blessing "

I said being as sarcastic as I could.

right at that moment mr.clapp starts babbling.

I look over at max to see he had been looking at me still.

he winks and I roll my eyes and look away.

" today is dodge ball day. team captains hunter and max, hunter picks first."

mr.clapp says looking down at his clipboard.

hunter and max both go up to the front of the gym.

I point at myself to hunter giving him the pick me or else face.

"I pick sidney"

hunter says in a sarcastic willing voice.

ashley wipes a fake tear as I walk over to hunter.

after the teams have been picked we all got on our side of the court.

I was facing max and he smirked.

"can I help you." I say with a straight face.

max just shrugs

"I mean it's not really fair that you have to go against me."

I look to my side then back at max who was fully confident.

"wanna bet." I say smirking.

max puts his hand through his brown hair.

"sure but let's make it interesting. If I get you out, you have to go on a date with me."

I think about it for a second.

"ok but if I win, I get to pick out your outfits for the whole week."

he walks up to me passing the line on the court and puts his hand.

"deal?" he asked in a satisfied tone.

"deal." I put out my hand and shake his.

"let's start kids"

mr.clapp says from the other side of the room.

max quickly gets back over to his spot and mr.clapp hands him the ball to start.

he throws it straight at hunter

but he moves out of the way.

left, were only about five guys (counting hunter)

and me and some girl on hunter's team.

on max's side he had four guys left not counting him.

max tries to hit me but I move out of the path of the ball. soon it was only me and hunter left on our side.

"sidney you better not get out"

hunter says with attitude.

I stand up straight and look over at him.

"I don't plan on..."

right then and there max had found the perfect chance to hit me out.

hunter shook his head at me and I left the court.

I sat down and covered my face.

then I heard the whistle that meant game over.

"I'll pick you up at 6"

I hear max whisper into my ear.

I shake my head and look up at him.

he hands me his phone.

"number please love"

I just keep on shaking my head has I put my number
into his phone.

I get up and walk into the locker room and change back into my uniform for the last class of the day.
