Violet's pov.

They say that I'm recovering very well. Ruby said that when she had a chance and once I recovered fully that she would take me to the city to get cloths and other necessities for me. I hope there aren't many people. I'm not sure how well I would do in a crowded area. I heard that Ruby wasn't feeling good for a few days but is better now and just in time because the doctor is releasing me. I asked where Ruby was to schedule a day to go. I asked around and finally found her. "Hey Ruby the doc. released me and I wanted to see if you still would take me to the city?" "Of course, we can go today since I'm bored and have nothing else to do anyways." "Cool, are we leaving now or later?" "Let's go now, I'll mind link my mate on our way there."

She walks me to her car and buckles me in. Then she gets in the driver's seat and starts driving. It takes a bit to get there because we live away from human so that no accidents can occur. When we get there it takes my breath away. I never seen a city before and it looked awesome. I couldn't wait to explore. I wanted to look at everything and stay for a long time. She takes me to six different stores and got me all sorts of cloths and other girl items. She also got a couple of surprises for me that is driving me crazy to know what she got for me. She puts the stuff in the car and drives us back home. When we get back she has Elijah help her carry the stuff inside and shows me my room. The bed is so soft and I have a bathtub to use. This is so nice. I close the curtains since this trip really made me tired and turned off the light. I snuggle up in my bed and go to sleep.

Ruby's pov.

I was feeling weird and I remember that I growled at Elijah but I'm not sure why. I locked the door to keep people away. Elijah came back later and told me about the tub and chocolate. After another day or so I was feeling much better. I was just staring at the forest when Violet found me and asked when I could take her to the city. I said we could go now and told my mate where we were going. I took her to different stores and got her a couple surprises. I drive us back home not wanting to worry anyone. Elijah helps me with the stuff and I show her to her room. I knew she was tired so I left the stuff in her room and left so she could rest.

Then I went to find Elijah and ask how the pack did while I was away and to apologize for growling at him. The wolf I sent to check about the missing wolves came to me before I could find Elijah. "I have news." "Follow me to a more private talking place." I walk him to an abandoned shack. "What did you find out?" "I found the missing wolves and watched them for a day. He told them to either join or go through a trail. I watched as they all decided to join not wanting to find out what he meant." "So you are saying that they don't need rescuing and they have joined the dark force." "Yes." "Thank you, you now may leave since I have no more favors I could ask of you. We are equal." "Good." I watched as he left, I need to inform the pack. I went to the trained yard and called a meeting. "Is something wrong?" "What happened?"

So many questions. "Alright! I have some news. I have just received information that those missing wolves joined the dark force and look happy where they are at." "How do you know?" "I sent a wolf there to check the place out. They came back and told me what they saw. They even watched for a day to make sure that he was right. None tried to escape or anything." "So what do we do now?" "As much as I want to try and save them, if they have joined the dark force they won't want to come back and fight us. So we will leave them be, inform the other packs near us to spread the word that the missing wolves joined the dark force, so that no one tries to save them and end up getting hurt."

I dismiss them and call my sister. I explain the situation and tell her to call any alpha she knows and inform them. I only know two other alphas that are close so I call them and inform them. By the time I was done I was tired and it was dark. I went and eat a small bite and went to lay down with Elijah. I snuggled up with him and feel asleep. I keep having this same nightmare again and again tonight is no different I have the same nightmare again. It starts and ends the same way. I made a promise to myself to check my foods and make sure I'm not being poisoned. Hopefully I can find out so that I can finally sleep in peace for a night. Without sleep I'll get weak and stuff, I can't afford to be weak when I have a pack to look after.
