Phil was great at maths.
And thank god for that.
In just over an hour, dan had managed to master logarithms and the basics of quadratics, much more than what he learns in actual classes.
"Do you want to get a snack?" Dan asked after a further 10minutes. Phil stopped writing and looked up, his fringe flopping onto his forhead carelessly.
"Sure" he replied.
Walking down the corridors in a pleasant silence, just liatening to the creaking of the wooden floors and the footsteps that walked on them. In no time they reached the canteen and grabbed a few things before walking out the the garden, which smelt of freshly mowed grass.
"We should start over" phil spoke after a while. Dan hummed in reply.
"Okay, im dan?" He said carefully, which ended up sounding more like a question rather than an introduction.
Phil chuckled lightly before holding out his hand "phil"
Dan smiled ever so slightly, which earned him a grin from phil that outdid dans smile. Gosh dan could see that everyday.
"Hey, i have a question thats been bugging me ever since i saw them in your vase the first day i was here" phil started nervously. Dan nodded, acknowledging him and urging him to continue.
"What type of flowers are these?" The blue eyed boy asked, lifting hus hand up and gesturing to dans flower crown that had been lazily tossed onto his freshly washed hair (which was evident via his curls).
"Oh," he sarted softly, "Angel Breath."
Phils mouth formed in an "o" shape before quickly transforming into a pleased grin. Dan smiled wider, showing his dimples for the first time in weeks.
"You know, when you smile, it improves your look a whole lot more."
Dans smile vanished.
"Dont worry.... Its cute"
