Chapter 34

"Big brother..." you spoke getting Kaname's attention. "Thank you! You did this for us...me and Yuki. You doing all this to protect us. Thank you big brother!" You gave him a warm smile that resembled someone else he knew which made him suddenly embrace you, your arms hung by your side.

"You haven't changed. I'm glad..." Kaname whispered in your ear as he dug his head into your shoulder.

"Big brother..." you spoke when he released you from his arms.

Kaname looked at you and smiled warmly then kissed your forehead. That kiss sent an exciting heat wave through your body.

"Now go on and do what you believe is right. Go and fight along side your sister." He looked over his shoulder then gave you a light push.

You nodded then began walking away.

"Be careful... (Name)..." Kaname said to himself.

Kaname let you and Yuki inside your house, while confessing his sins. You didn't look surprised since you already knew but what surprised you was that Yuki didn't look the slightest bit shocked.

"You're not surprised at what I say anymore..." Kaname commented then started walking towards her. "Do you know why I'm telling you all this? I want to know your feelings...Yuki. my hands are far more tainted than you think. Can you stand these hands touching you every day?" Kaname asked, fighting not to touch Yuki.

You watched what was happening then your eyes widen when Yuki had tears streaming down her face. Kaname didn't say anything then looked over his shoulder.

"Seiren are you here?" He asked.

The vampire bodyguard, Seiren appeared beside you bowing on one knee.

"I'm here my master." Seiren replied.

"Please take Yuki and (Name) to their rooms to rest." Kaname instructed, leaving Yuki's side.

You approached Yuki and tugged at her sleeve.

"Big sister..." you muttered.

"My current feelings are a mixture of sadness and anger." Yuki looked at Kaname with a wounded expression.

"Yes..." Kaname responded looking over his shoulder.

"Please come this way." Seiren held her hand out to lead you and Yuki down the hall.

"But since I've decided to live countless years with you, I wanted you to know my sins. Even if I cannot touch you...just having you by my side is enough." Kaname proclaimed, proceeding down the opposite direction of the hall.

His words stabbed you in the heart...you knew very well that those words were meant for Yuki and Yuki alone.

Suddenly Yuki left your side and hugged Kaname's arm.

"Yu--"

"I don't mind if you're tainted! Then taint me too!" Yuki cried as Kaname touched her cheek. "I love these hands." She added then was interrupted by a kiss from Kaname.

You closed your eyes then turned to look at Seiren.

"Please show me to my room, Seiren. My brother and sister need some time alone." You said, heading down the halls.

"Yes Lady (Name)." Seiren bowed to you then led you to your room.

Everything started coming back to you. The maze like halls you and Yuki used to roam in. You and her used to play hide and seek because there were a lot of places you could hide. The memory of that made you smile.
