You nodded then entered your room, followed by a soft click sound of your door closing.
You slowly walked deeper into your room, just standing there brought back so much memories. When Haruka would read bed time stories to you or when Juri would tickle you if you didn't go to sleep. Or that time...when Yuki sneaked into your room.
{Flashback}
You (at age 4) could hear the rain pouring down hard, it kinda sounded relaxing to you when suddenly the sound of thunder startled you causing you to quickly sit up.
CRASH BOOM!!!
You jumped, covering your ears. Then you heard the sound of a heart beat coming from outside your door.
"Big sister?" You called out, the door slowly opens to see 5 year old Yuki in her night gown.
Yuki smiled.
"Did the booms scare you?" You asked as Yuki approached your bed.
"No I just had a nightmare. Can I sleep with you?" She asked.
You nodded then scooted over to give Yuki some bed room. Both of you facing eachother.
"What was your nightmare?" You asked.
"A scary looking shadow looking at me with hungry eyes. It's eyes was red and blue." Yuki replied, shivering when took her hand in yours.
"Don't worry. I'll protect you." You said with a cute smile.
BOOM CRACK!!!
You quickly hid under the covers still holding Yuki's hand. Yuki giggled, lifting the covers up to see you startled from the thunder.
"And I'll protect you from the booms!" She proclaimed, giving you cheerful smile.
Both you and Yuki giggled then slowly fell asleep.
{End of flashback}
You sat on your bed and sighed at the memory. Then flopped on it, relaxing your aching body. All that fighting then walking really tired you out--
Then the smell of Yuki's blood filled the air, the scent making you thirsty. You haven't drank any blood since Aido.
Knock knock
"Who is it?" You asked.
"...its Aido." The familiar yet annoying voice hummed from the other side of the door.
You shot straight up form your bed with embarrassment as you remembered attacking Aido. Still you felt bad and wanted to apologize to him so you ran to your door and opened it.
Aido stood in front of you looking like his normal self.
"Hey..." you greeted.
Aido huffed then crossed his arms.
"Hey? Is that all you have to say to me?" Aido asked.
You blinked and bowed in front of him.
"I'm really sorry what happened before. I didn't mean to drink your blood I didn't know how to control myself." You said then looked up at him with determination. "But I'll try to control my hunger!" You gave him a serious look.
Aido looked deeply into your eyes then sighed.
"It's not your fault. You just got turned back into a vampire so it would make sense that you aren't well used to your vampire...self." Aido said then entered your room, suddenly closing the door.
"Uh...Aido--" you spoke when he suddenly wrapped his arms around you. "H-hey what do you think you're do--"
"Do you remember what I told you, before you were reunited with your sister?" Aido whispered in your ear which caught your attention.
{Flashback}
"We aristocrats will serve our Pureblood leaders..."
{End of flashback}
"...until we turn to dust." Aido proclaimed.
You blinked.
"Go ahead...Lady (Name)...I offer my blood to you." He said with the most sweetest honeyed voice that for once made your heart skip a beat.
"Aido I..." you began to speak but he only held you tighter. "...thank you." You grinned then pulled down his collar revealing his bare neck.
Just looking at it suddenly made your (e/c) eyes glow red. You leaned closer then released your fangs, piercing his neck.
Aido flinched a bit at the pain but then calmed down. He felt better about himself for offering his blood to at Pureblood but didn't notice that the Pureblood was shedding tears...but why?
