(Y/n)'s P.O.V

The woman who had destroyed my home and possibly Tomoe, flew me to a base of some sort.
I call it a base because there are many people who look as serious as hell and keep on mumbling about some "plan".

The place itself looks like a massive church. White tall walls, stained glass. A fancy carpet running all the way from the entrance to a tiny platform where a large dark wood table's standing with royals seated by it.

Most of who I assume are royals are men.
Some older than others, some younger.
Up against the walls there stands many young men and women wearing a special dark blue uniform. They all seem to be about my age, or maybe older, even.

They're staring stiffly into the air, and once in a while glancing at the smaller tables placed around here and there.

When I came here I was seated on a wooden chair next to the entrance and told to wait until that woman comes back. While I'm waiting I'm trying to figure out what accent she has.
A little while goes by and she finally comes back. She tells me to stand up and follow her. We walk through the crowd of people and through a tiny door at the end of the church. Cold, yet fresh air hits my face as we stroll through a miniature garden.

We continue to walk when all of a sudden I can't hold my curiosity back.
"What's your name?"
She doesn't answer right away, but with a light voice she replies: "Alicja."
I nod. Pretty name.
"That's a pretty name," I mutter.
The woman huffs, but in my ears it sounds like: I know. Thanks.

Later I start to ask again.
"So, where are you from?"
She glances at me, and doesn't actually answer the question this time. I'm kinda disappointed, bit I get the message, so I don't push it.

We're still walking. The only sound there is to hear is the sound of our footsteps. I look from side to side and see the small fancy white fences protecting the beautiful tropical flowers.

"You're probably wondering why you're here, right?" Alicja asks all of a sudden. I glance at her and nod. She proceeds to continue. "I was sent to get you by the council. They want to see you in person and discuss things over. About your shrine spirits and what not."

"And you just had to turn my shrine into dust, huh?" I ask. "What about Tomoe? He could be hurt, dead, buried alive!"

"Your Familiar is a sly fox. I'm sure he's alright."

She flashes me a big bright smile. Perfect white teeth. I smile back, but with a closed mouth. Dang, why does every person I meet seem so perfect?

We reach a small building with four stories.
Alicja walks up to the door and knocks on it.
We wait for a bit until someone finally opens the door. An old guy wearing a long, white cloak. He could look like a priest if he wanted to, but I don't think that is the reason why he wears it.

"Alicja? Is that you?"
A tiny smile appeares on his face as he looks straight past me. That's when I realize that he's blind.
"Yes, sir," Alija says, though her voice seems a lot...colder?
The old man holds his arms out, motioning for a hug. Alicja glances at me and awkwardly hugs the man back. "Did you bring the girl?"
Alicja nods. "She's right here."

She gently pushes me in front of the man, and I stumble trying not to knock him down. I'm literally inches from him. He's slightly shorter than me since he has a hunchback.
It takes him a moment to say something.
"(Y/n)! Welcome! Come on in," he says, ushering me through the door and into a library. The room is lit by the sun shining through the stained glass windows that are placed very high up.

Alicja follows behind me as I walk around the room, bewildered by the books that are lined up perfectly on the dusty shelves. Stopping in front of a book, I turn to Alicja as to getting approval of taking it off the shelf. She nods slowly. Turning back to the book I lightly pick it up and flip onto a random page. I skim through the page, only to realize that I don't understand what's written. Holding the book up with the pages showing I turn to Alicja with a raised eyebrow. "Cyrillics," Alicja nods. I shape my mouth into an "oh".
