One Shots from the Selection Series

America's POV

I stood by the piano, occasionally putting a melody into it and then slowly becoming quiet. I take my fingers away from the piano and rest them on my baby bump. That little baby doesn't know their family yet, gosh I hope that baby loves us.

I hear the door open and I start to turn around when-

"Hey!" I say in protest as I feel Maxon sweep his arm under my legs and wrap his other arm around my shoulders.

I go to squirm out when he drops me on the bed.

"Oh no, don't you da-" I say knowing what's coming, but before I could finish I felt his fingers on my waist tickling me mercilessly.

I laughed and laughed so hard, I was crying. "Ma-xon... Pl-ease st-o-op," I say between laughs.

"Not until you say you love me," he replies cheekily,

"Y-ou've he-eard it be-fore th-ough," I get out,

"I want to hear it again," he says back stubbornly,

"I-I love y-you," l say still laughing.

He stops immediately and says, "I love you too," he smiles and leans down to place a soft kiss on my lips. I immediately melt into the kiss, forgetting about how I was just tickled into madness. He puts his hands on my rounded abdomen as I run my fingers through his hair. All too soon he breaks it off,

"Ames?"

"Yes?"

"What do you want to call it?"

I frown at his words and say, "I don't like it when you call our baby 'it',"

"Neither do I, what do you say we give the baby a temporary name?"

"Temporary name?"

"You know, something that we can call the baby while it's living in you,"

"Hmm, I'd like that, what about Bean?"

"It's perfect,"

He bends down and kisses Bean over and over, that's when I knew we'd be a great family.

AN; I know it's not great but I'm tired and stressed and just wanted to get something up.
