Kenna and Astra were out walking around the new house that King Maxon had gifted the Singer family. It was a beautiful day, but Astra's dad was still at work.
Astra sat in a baby wrap on her mother's chest. Kenna walked along the path with Astra when suddenly, Astra started to squirm.
She kicked and screamed at her mom incessantly until Kenna had to set her down on the stone pathway.
Astra instantly stopped crying. She got onto her hands and knees, and pushed one leg up, and then the other. She extended her legs and wobbly stood to her feet.
Astra had done this before but she had never done what she was going to do next.
With a giggle Astra put her left foot forward, her right foot following and she started to jog.
Kenna watched amazed and applauded Astra on her achievement.
Oh boy, did they ever have a story for Daddy.
A/N; Yes, I know it's short and has no romance, but it's all I can update right now. I have a mild case of writers block and I'm out of new ideas. So, to help me out, please, please comment ideas! I really like this book and I don't want it be a scrap!
