Cassie POV

As Claire left I couldn't hold my self from setting them up together! So I decided to talk to Carter. I went beside him on the coach. "Hey!" I smiled at him. "Hey" He said not paying attention as he flipped through the channel. Since he wasn't paying attention I grabbed the remote from his hand and threw it off to the side. I finally got his attention. "Anways...what do you think of Claire?" I asked him. "She nice" He responded back. Are you kiddig me that's it in this rate by the time I suceed will be at the end of highschool. "Is she dating anyone?" He asked. My eyes widen to what he said. "No...why?...do you like her!" I teased him. "No....I hardly know her" He responded. "Well your answer is No." I told him.

"Whats tree hill high like, you know like is it Drama Central, Or Just Normal High" He asked. "Definitely Drama Central!" I replied fast. "You Part of the Popular kids I'm guessing" He looked at me. "Well yea, Im a cheerleader, How about you in your old school?" I asked. "Popular kid, but I never wanted to be one, I still hung out with everyone, thats probably what made me popular but its nice getting to know other people. He pointed out. "You make a good point there" I said.

"So im gonna guess this out, Its rather you and Claire who is dating star player of the basketball, Then there one guy who you guys always hang out with but just consider him as a friend, then there is a jealous cheerleader who always wants to date someone who is usually taken and then there the player." He guessed. In suprise he actually got everything right. "Wow are you good" I said. For the rest of night we both just talked about school and told everything that happened during the years.

-Next day Morning-

Carter POV

I woke up to a peacful noise of nothing. I looked outside and no one was there. I took a shower and got dressed and went downstairs. Hello? I said but no one answered. I looked at my watch thinking I slept in but it was only seven. I walked around the house and no one was there. Then the door slammed. I moved slowly towards and quickly turned and saw Cassie. My heart stopping beating fast "Good morning sunshine" She said. "Good morning Cassie" I said heading back in the kitchen. "Where is everyone?" I asked. "Work" She replied. "C'mon we are gonna be late for school" She patted me on the shoulder and headed outside. I got my bag and put my sun glasses on and headed outside.

-School-

Cassie and I got out of the car and we started to walk inside the school. Everyone started staring at us I looked around wondering why was it me?. "Whys everyone staring?" I asked her. She stopped and look at me "Why wouldnt they...Your new and your pretty good looking and your with me! Lol jk" She answered. As we were walking I saw Claire talking to another guy. "Whose he?" I asked Cassie. "Thats Claire's guy bestfriend she hangs with him alot, I think he likes her. We both walked up to them. "Hi" I said to Claire and The other guy "Im Carter..um Cassie cousin" I smiled. "Brandon...Claire Friend..Best Friend" He said back. In way I think he was threated by the fact of only looking at me.

Cassie then looked over to Claire. "Can I talk to you Claire....Alone" Cassid said.Claire nodded and then they both walked off to the side.

It was just Brandon and I. "So how long did you know Claire" I tried getting a conversation going. "Since Grade 5" He answered. "Why would you care" He said. "Just wanted to get a conversation going but I guess not" I looked around hoping Cassie and Claire would come here..faster.

"So you like Claire" I looked around and then looked at him. "Claire wouldn't go for a guy like me" He signed. Cassie and Claire came back. "C'Mon Claire we gotta go" He said. Claire waved goodbye and they went off.

"That guy creeps me out" I said. "Yea he's kinda the jealous type when it comes around Claire" She responded. Cassie and I then walked off as she told me more about Brandon.

-After School-

Carter POV

Instead of going home I stayed a little longer at school, Only because I wanted to join the basketball team. I approached the gym and slightly knocked on the door. 'Hello' I said showing only my head. The coach showed the hands to come in. I entered and saw Cassie and Claire, The other cheer leader and the basketball team. Everyone stared at me. I stood there.

"Why are you here boy?" The coach asked. I gave a stare at Cassie before I said anything then I looked at the coach. "I came here wondering if I could join the team?" I spoke. Some of the Basketball players giggled and started whispering. "Settle down boys, you played before?" He asked another question. "Yea" I answered. "He has game? Yea right!" One of the player shouted, everyone started laughing expect for Claire and Cassie. "Yea..I probably have more game then you" I talked back. "You wanna go?" The same player added. "Enough! Jack be quiet!" The coach yelled at him. Jack stayed silent. "What's your name, boy" The coach asked crossing his Arms.

"Carter...Carter Scott" I answered. His eyes widen a bit as he rubbed his chin he mumbled "A Scott boy....". "You related to Lucas or Nathan Scott" He glared at me. I was confused to why he asked that question but I responded "Lucas Scott" I said confused. "See me tommorrow after school we will talk more about this later, By the way its Coach Fields" He blew his whistle and everyone got back to practice. With that I left.

I went home and told my dad (Lucas) About the coach. He got happy, he told me That his Name was Andre Fields and his brother was one of my Dad's Players before and He was an amazing one every time he made a dunk it was like he flew like a bird. But sadly he died, By getting shot. He was a close friend of my Dad and everyones. Quientin Fields 44 or as everyone called him Q.

So yea the coach is Andreeee Fields, Chapter 1 and 2 were probably boring Im going try to more drama in Chapter 3 with Bradon Claire a d Carter.
