Nathan and Haley's House

Cassie POV

"Alright I'll tell them see you later night" I hung up on the phone and made my way downstairs. Mom was cooking dinner, as Dad was watching the game and Lydia was on the laptop.

"Hey guys can I talk to for a second" I said. The three of them peaked their heads up. "Yea honey what is it?" Mom asked. "Ashton is coming over tonight, to meet you guys, but please...please..please be cool this time" I begged.

The only reason I beg them is because Mom, Dad, Lydia and Jamie always and literally always would embrassing me around any boyfriend I bring. It's the reason I usually never bring them to our house when everyone is home. At least Jamie moved out so now I only have to deal with the three of them.

"Should I play the rough tough dad?" Dad asked mom. She shook her head in agreement chuckling away. "Dad!" I said before Lydia interuppted.  "Oh I should play the flirty sister" She winked also laughing away. "Lydia! you have a boyfriend" I pointed out.

"Cass honey you know we are just joking" Mom came closer and gave a hug. "Or are we Hales?" Dad questioned as Lydia and him kept laughing.

"Funny" I faked smile rolling my eyes. Right then the doorbell rang. "He's here act normal please" I put my hands together and begged. "Let me get it" Lydia got up and ran to the door. "Lydia no" I tried catching up to her but before I could make it to her or the door she already answered it.

"Heyy Ashton, welcome to our house" She winked biting down her lower lip. Could this get any worse I thought. Ashton slowly entered and gave a small wave before actually meeting anyone. "Ashton hey!" I came closer to him.

"Hey Cass" He smiled and then gave a kiss on the cheek. Dad then made a noise with thoart making Ashton  slowly turning his face "Um hey Cassie's Dad" His words shoke slowly greeting him.

Dad crossed him arms. "Mr.Scott you mean" with a deep voice informed him. "Sorry Mr.Scott" Ashton repeated his words1. Dad then leaned in closer to Ashton towards his ear trying to whisper but obviously failed "Keep your hands to yourself boy" He warned.

It got worse. He gave him glare moving back from him. Ashton on the other looked liked he was gonna die from how afriad he was from my Dad. I could literally feeling him shaking. He looked around the room first to my Mom who was the only one who actually listened. Then Lydia again who raised her eyebrows and winked again and then back to my Dad who was death staring him.

He probably regrets coming here. With a huge moment of silence as it filled the air. Dad and Lydia couldn't keep it in and bursted out laughing. "OMG His face!" Lydia annouced.

Dad then put one his hands on him. "We're just joking with ya, we do this with all Cassie's boyfriend, but I have to say your reactions was the best, you can call me Nathan" Dad explained.

Ashton's faced relieved up as he took a breath "Oh thank God, you guys scared the heck out of me" Ashton confessed. The four them all started laughing. Honestly I think Ashton was first one to actually go with the joke.

"Ok, ok fun and games are over please lets just eat dinner before we spill any other embrassing secrets" I rushed everyone off to the dinning table.

"You got a great family Cassie" Ashton whispered while were walking to the dining table. "They are" I took a look at all of them "But they can be a pain sometimes"

"So Ashton tell us about youself" We all seated and Mom asked. "Well uh my parents are divorce and I'm an only child, we also never really had family time or had any time to enjoy each other like you guys do unless it was Christmas, and I think its cool that all of you guys do all these family parties, dinners and things, Oh and one more thing about me Skateboarding is my life" He chuckled the last past.

"Well all there is to say is welcome to the family!" Dad blurted. A small smile appeared on Ashton face, with something in his eyes which made him feel happy.

For the rest of the night we all just talked  telling cheesy jokes, stories  we even played Monopoly, which I won by the way but it was great day. Maybe even one of the best nights.

Baker House

Carter POV

"Sawyer, Claire wake up" I snapped my finger infront of their faces. It wasn't even a long drive. Slowly their faces flicnhed and finally got up fluterring their eyes. "Oh we're here help me up" Sawyer yawned lifted up her arms, I grabbed one arm as Claire got the other. "It felt like you got heavier in that one car ride" I teased.

"Shutup" She rolled her eyes. "Boys" Claire said looking to Sawyer. "Tell me about it" Sawyer muttered. Claire unlocked the door as we carried Sawyer through the hallways. We reached the living room where we saw our Mom and Dad with Brooke ans Julian. "Mom, Dad?" I questioned a bit stunned that I literally dropped Sawyer with Claire who let go after her fall. "Ow! Guys!" Sawyer yelled.

"Shit! sorry" I apologized. I lifted her back as Mom and Dad came over and put her on the coach. "Aw Sawyer are you alright? how'd this happen?" Mom questioned. "Car accident" Sawyer answered.

"Of cousre its a car accident" Dad responded. "Don't worry Sawyer your Mom and Dad can't get mad at you it literally runs down your family getting hit by a car" Brooke chuckled. It was a funy until she continued.  "Beware Carter" She said with a sudden voice. That was creepy.

"Uh sorry to ruin the moment but no Hi hello to me?" I put my two senses in. "Hi Carter" They said at the say time and focused back on Sawyer. "I feel so loved" I sarcastically say.

"You know what sucks it's gonna take longer to move in to the new apartment" Sawyer pouted. "Noo, your staying with us till your legs shows improvement" Dad told.

"Dad I'm 21" Sawyer reminded.

"No" He repeated.

"Lucas I'm 21" Sawyer repeated.

"Hey Peyton maybe we should cancel that new car we were gonna buy Sawyer" Dad tried whispering. "Actually nevermind" Sawyer changed her mind.

"But anyways packup we're having dinner here and then leaving" Dad then informed. "Claire pack Sawyer's clothes for her please" Brooke told Claire as she agreed.

We headed upstairs to pack the clothes. "Oh boy your sister packed alot of clothes" Claire breathed out. "Yea she a bit a crazy of her clothing and how much to bring" Carter told.

Claire took a peek at my room. "She maybe be but she isn't as crazy as you" Claire laughed. "Seriously this is literally nothing" I pointed to a few t-shirts and jeans. She lifted a shirt up. "A Gavin DeGraw shirt nice" She threw it to me. "Careful it's a collector" I smiled as she shoke her head. "Favourite song by him?" She asked.

At the same time we both said 'I Don't Want to be'. "Yess" She smiled putting her hand out for a highfive. "My parents would always sing that to us as a kid" I said returning the high five. "Same here I loved the lyrics and the tune was just great" Claire told.

"I don't want to be anything other than what I've been trying to be lately" She sang  abit of if. I joined in cause heck it was one of the best songs of my childhood.

"All of I have to do is listen to me and I'd be someone" We sang also continuing to the fold the clothes and putting them in the bags. Claire stopped and spoke "We should totally do a due" She laughed and stared at  me. "Our name would  the C duo" I went along. "The C duo?" She smiled asking. "You know cause our name is Claire and Carter?" I explained.

"I know Carter I was just joking, but even if we did the C duo really? kinda cheesy" She laughed at the name as we headed downstairs for dinner. "C duo is not a cheesy it makes sense" I defended my answer following behind her.

We had dinner as we discussed Jamie and Madison wedding which is this Saturday which I also totally forgot about. It makes snese why Mom and Dad did come home two days early. I also forgot to ask Rebecca if she wanted to come. But I'm still debating if I should take her or not. I dont know why. But it's gonna be a crazy night.
