One Tree Hill Next Generation

-Next Day (Wednesday)-

Cassie POV

Walking downstairs. I headed into the kitchen it was quiet since it was just Lydia and I. I made myself breakfast and started examining old albums. Then the doorbell rang. I got up and walked towards the door. I open it and Jamie and Madison barg in.

"Hey Cass!" Jamie and Madison both said squeezing me. "Woah why are you too both in a good mood and ah Your back!" I said. Madison and Jamie both let go off me as they both looked each other Madison showed me her hand.

"OMG!!! You guys are engaged!" I said joyfully jumping up and down. Jamie smiles "Yea" Kissing Madison on the head. "I have other news too" Jamie said.

"Umm What can better than the engagement" I said still happy. "I made it too the NBA" Jamie smiled. "What! Congrats Bro!" I hug Jamie tight. "I have more too" He said. I let go "Jamie your gonna give me a heart attack with all this amazing news" I joked.

"Since we are both done college, Jamie and I bought a home in Tree Hill its two houses down from here" Madison exclaimed. "Congrats again, LYDIA! come down Jamie is Home!" I yell.

Lydia walked down stairs and the first thing she notices is the ring on Madison Finger. "Eek! You guys are engaged I Know it!" Lydia runs towards them hugging them.

"Jamie and Madison bought a House near us too and Jamie made the NBA" I explain to Lydia. "Ah! Congrats guys and Congrats to making it the NBA Mom and Dad are gonna be so excited especially Dad" Lydia said.

"Speaking of Mom and Dad where are they?" Jamie asked. "Oh yea where are they I wanted to catch up Mrs.Scott" Madison adds in. "Oh Mom and Dad are vacationing with Aunt Brooke and Peyton and Uncle Lucas and Julian" I told them. "They will be here on Sunday, Call them! Dad and Mom need to know" Lydia said shoving a phone in Jamie face.

"Hey I think I'll suprise them" Jamie winks at us. My phone starts to beep. I open it and saw the text from Claire. "Aw, Hey guys I need to cheer this morning, I'll catch up later" I said packing my bag heading out. They all said bye as they continued to talk.

-School Basketball/Cheer Practice-

Claire POV

I look through the window waiting for Cassie. So to spare time I told the team to strench it out as we wait for her. Beginning to strench I sat on the ground strenching my leg out. Then a basketball rolls towards me. I loke up to see who it was. It was Carter smiling approaching me.

"Hey-O" He sat down next to me. "Hey, Shouldn't you be practising" I looked at him continung strenching.  "Shouldn't you be cheering?" He laughed. "Funny. Just waiting for Cassie...., Anways about this 'Fake boyfriend girlfriend thing' I dont think we should do it anymore" I explain.

"Alright, You finally getting along with Rebbeca?" He calmly said. "Noooo she Is the enemy but speaking of Rebbeca by any chance did you invite her to the party on Friday?" I asked.

"Yea, you know she actually kind if you get to know a her a bit" Carter responded. I raised my eyebrows. "Really and when did you take the time to get to know her" I asked again. "We walked home together kind of" He said slowly.

"You walked home together." I re spoke his words. "Not really she kinda just followed me" Carter said.  "Whatever" I said rolling my eyes. Carter got up "You know Claire if something is up you can tell me ill always be there for you...as a friend" Carter said walking back to his practice."Yea..as friends" I mumbled to myself.

Carter POV

Coach Field blew his whistle getting everyone attention. "Everyone attention I have some news to share!" Coach Fields smile. Before he said anything Cassie came barging throw the door. "SO SORRY IM LATE!" Cassie yelled. She stopped and looked around to see that coach Fields was talking. "Oh....opps Sorry! Carry on" Cassie said walking to Claire.
