Twisted Fates (Ninjago Kai X Reader)

A/N: not edited this chapter. Like, how? Why would I write this? Btw, am I annoying all you rr or new reader yet? Ha.

Y/n's POV
KEIRA!!!
You go towards the cliff but it's too late, she's- she's gone. You look over the edge to see... Kiera laid at the bottom of the cliff inches away from the water, her blood surrounding her black hair and her upper torso. Her feet and legs in weird positions and her head snapped at a weird angle. You scream trying to go forward over the edge to Kiera but strong hands pull you back but you don't care you just keep screaming and fighting. You scream as loud as you can and continue doing it until a pain hits the back of your head and darkness encloses you.

Lottie POV
We were wandering around trying to             Find Y/n until we hear a high pitched scream.
"Y/N!" I shout, I know that scream anywhere. Without a care in the world, I race towards her voice, it keeps getting louder and louder and then-Nothing. I keep running, having to know what happened.

As I reach a little clearing I see y/n passed out in Kai's arms, Cole putting one of his daggers away. A black figure disappears in the background but I don't care. "What-" I stop as I look down to the bottom of the cliff. Kiera. Kiera. I'm too shocked to do anything but collapse onto my knees by the edge of the cliff.
"What happened?" Lloyd demands.
"Y/n was going to jump off the cliff, we stopped her but, Lloyd, your father can and threw Kiera off the cliff instead and then disappeared." Cole explains, I can hear the sadness in his voice. I turn to my right to see Kai on his knees with y/n laid in his lap, completely out of it. Kai starts crying and hugs y/n repeating "I'm sorry. It's my fault." Over and over to her head.

"Kiera." I whisper and I start crying, just looking at her body. Nya and Jay walk up behind me and Nya hugs me.

How could anyone do this? What has she ever done to deserve this. As I cry my eyes close and I pass out.

Kai's POV
When we got back to the monastery, I placed y/n on my bed. Cole said it was better if she stayed with me and maybe we could figure things out but- it's all my fault. Y/n tried to kill herself because of me. I don't deserve her, I don't deserve anything. Leaving y/n on my bed, I walk into my bathroom and get my blade. I roll my sleeves up and do four cuts on each wrist, not bothering to clean them up I do the same to the top of thighs. "It's. My. Fault. All. My. Fucking. Fault!" Each word deserving a cut.
Hearing y/n stirring I quickly tidy my wrists and hide my blade, the blood will soak into my ninja gi on my legs anyway so she won't care.

"K-Kai?" She asks and I sit next to her. "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to-" but before I could finish she leans up and hugs me. Crying into my neck, I hug her back trying to control the tear that escapes my eye into her hair. "Why did this have to happen,Kai? Is it because of me? Who was that guy?" She looks up into my eyes, her beautiful face only inches away from mine, her e/c eyes sparkling with her tears, her hands still around my neck. "No y/n, it's not because of you. It was Lord Garmadon, Lloyds father. We told you about him didn't we?" I ask but I sound like I'm talking to a child. She nods anyway and continues crying into my neck again. "Y/n, don't get mad at me for asking but why did you try to-to jump?" I whisper into her ear. She looks back up at me and whispers, "you, Kai. I'll never be good enough for you. And before that... because of Cole, I knew I lost a brother and everyone made fun of me because of it... except Lottie and-and Kiera." She cries once again. "Why-why would you think that?" I ask her softly. "Because you are too good for me. That I'm just pathetic and in your way and that-that I-" I cut her off by pressing my lips against hers. She's hesitant at first but she puts her hands through my hair and kisses me back (don't blame me, I know nothing kissing so... no lemons yet! Not because I haven't got a clue at all....) I place my hands on her hips and kiss her passionately but- "KAI GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM MY SISTER!" Cole screams through the door. I quickly let go of y/n and Cole walks forwards and drags me out of the room. "What the hell are you doing?" I ask him, shoving him backwards but he grabs me by the neck and pushes me against the wall, growling into my face. "You saw what happened earlier with y/n. AND NOW YOU TRY FUCKING KISSING HER?" He screams and starts to strangle me.

"COLE STOP!" I hear y/n's sweet voice before Breathing becomes hard and I lose consciousness.

Cole's POV
I cannot believe that asshole! After everything that happened he does this! When he became unconscious I let him fall to the floor, y/n went straight up to him and started crying. "Y/n, get away from him." I tell her. "Why would you do that, Cole. It wasn't his fault." Her whisper sent chills down my spine. Why is she siding with him?! What has he done, for her to-to care about him so much?! She tried to jumps of a cliff because of him and he knows but then he kisses her. Lloyd and the guys run to Kai but I shove past them and walk away. Kai is going to pay for this.

Y/n's POV
You sat next to Kai as the guys came towards you. Cole just stormed off. What is his problem? So what Kai kissed you, You kissed him back! "Y/n what happened?" Lloyd asked crouching down beside you. "Kai-kai kissed me and Cole saw and- and he tried to strangle him and then Kai just blacked out." You explain. "Kai kissed you!?" Nya and Lloyd both shout. "Yeah..." you say. Lloyd looks down at Kai and something flashes in his eyes.... anger? No, why would Lloyd be angry? You shake that thought off as Zane and PIXAL take Kai back into his room. You follow silently behind them.
"Y/n, just don't- it's been a long day and you should go to bed." Lottie says placing her hand on your shoulder. "Lottie, I'm staying with Kai and anyway, while I've been here I've been-" "You are not staying with him." You turn to see Cole stood there, looking dull and monotone. "Then where will I stay? Lottie stays with Nya now, so-" "You're staying with me instead." What?

Cole's POV
"You're staying with me instead." I've already spoken to sensei.
(Flashback)
"Sensei, I need to speak to you." I say walking in to the training room, sensei Wu sits on the steps with his tea. "Yes, Cole. What is it?" "Well, Sensei, I know that Kai is like a brother to me but I don't trust him. Especially  not with y/n." "What has happened for your brother to lose your trust, and the trust of him with your sister?" He takes a sip from his drink. "Kai is the reason y/n tried to kill herself and then I see him kissing her after everything he's done to her!" "Well, he is still your brother and if you don't trust him with your sister, then let her stay with you until we get her a room with her friend. Y/n is going through a bad time now Cole. She doesn't deserve everything that is happening and maybe Kai made the pain go all away." I stay there contemplating  it. No! It's not a reason. I ran feel my face lacing with anger. "I guess not then. Well, make up with your brother and keep your sister close if that bothers you. Now... LEAVE." I stand up and exit the room.
(End of flashback)
"I've spoken to sensei and you are to stay with me. I don't trust you with Kai." I say. "Y/n, Cole is your brother and I know for a fact that all he is doing is trying to protect you and if he doesn't trust Kai. Then -" I don't hear the rest as Lottie bends down and whispers into my sisters ear. "I guess." Y/n says and I turn to walk to my room. "Cole, can I just make sure he is okay first?" I growl but turn nod my head and storm off to my room. I hate you Kai, I hate you.

Y/n's POV
You walk into Kai's room and everyone has already left. You walk up and sit on the side of the bed. You start tracing love hearts on his wrist when you feel a mark under the sleeve. You slowly pull the sleeve up and see-
"This is why you were mad, I'm so sorry Kai. I'm so sorry." You kiss his scars and slowly cry until you feel no more.
