Twisted Fates (Ninjago Kai X Reader)

You and B/f/n started talking and getting to know each other after you introduced her to Zane and PIXAL. Jay and Nya still didn't come back out but you thought it was best to leave them. You decided to go sit in the living room because standing gets boring.

"So what's your favourite colour, Y/N?" B/f/n asks you. You think about it and just as your going to answer a loud bang can be heard from the kitchen.... where the front door is located. You and B/f/n stop talking to hear what is going on.

"Why the hell is he here? ........ This team is ......... This is all your fault...... nothing is going to.......... shut the fuck up before I make you, Kai.........mean it...... back the.....off......." and then a loud voice, that sounds a lot like Nya scream, "SHUT UP ALL OF YOU! THERE IS A REASON YOU ARE HERE!" You look down nervous. What if you make this worse? What if Cole or Kai gets mad and hurts you? What would they think about B/f/n. What if-

"YOU TWO GET YOUR ASSES DOWN HERE NOW!" B/f/n looks at you, "Nya is not in a good mood is she?" You laugh as a response and you both go towards the kitchen. The moment you walk in all eyes go to you. You look up and meet Kai's eyes.... before you can process anything he is on you in an instant. His arms wrapped around you and his face in your neck. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." He murmurs repeatedly into your skin and you smile wrapping your arms around him as well. "I forgive you... even though you didn't do anything." You reply laughing slightly. Kai laughs with you but keeps his face in your neck and arms wrapped around you for fear that you will disappear and leave him again.

You hug him back but the sound of someone clearing their throats breaks the silence like a knife cutting through flesh. (A/n: Doesn't this just remind you of English class teachers...? 'Cause they love this shit.) You both look up to see Cole with crossed arms, glaring down at you. You glare back and remove yourself from Kai's grasp.

"What, Cole?" You ask him in a tone that wouldn't be deemed polite.
"You're back." He states. Sounding dull and ... monotone. Does he not care that you are back? Does he care? Is this even happening? Is it all going on too fast? What if you are dreaming? What if it's not real? You mentally slap yourself, telling yourself to get a grip.
So you smirk and open your arms, bowing down from the hips slightly, "No shit, Sherlock."

You instantly regret your snarky remark as his face goes hard with anger. Luckily for you, Kai wraps his arms around you once again and pulls your back to his chest, calming you down and stopping Cole from doing something he will regret.

"Cole, is it?" B/f/n asks and he nods, she continues, "Your sister is here, stop being a little bitch and accept her and your friends." She states crossing her arms, he looks at her with an open mouth and confused look which soon turns to frustration. Everyone laughs and B/f/n smirks with victory.

"Okay, so..." Nya begins and starts talking.

~After introductions and all that shit and talking about "hey how are ya"~

"So.... Are you going to be a team again? Ninjago needs its heroes." Nya says hopefully.

"Yeah!"
"Of Course!"
"Sure."
"Yes!"
"No."

Everyone turns to Cole. "I don't want be apart of the team again. Especially with him." He says glaring at Kai.

"Why? What has Kai done?" You ask.

"Well, care to tell her, Kai." You look at Kai and his eyes avoid you.

"Your perfect boyfriend here, Y/N isn't as perfect as you think. Isn't that right, Kai?"

You look at Kai again and he looks you in the eye.

"Kai. It's all your fault." Cole says while you start staring Kai down.

"Kai?" You squeak. Scared of what could possibly interfere your brothers and boyfriends friendship.

"Y/N, please don't hate me. I'm sorry."
