(Y/N)'s POV

"Friends, Friends, and other random people that happen to be around!" Avery yelled. "Welcome to Scaleswind!" A kid with blue hair came up behind her and jumped on her back.

"Avery!" he cheered.

"Hey Dmitri!" She said, letting him down. They did some sort of secret handshake thing that was too fast for anyone to follow.

"Do happen to have an extra place for me and my friends here to stay?" she asked the boy, kneeling to his level.

"Always do!" he said. She ruffled his hair. I looked at him. Was it just me, or did Dmitri look a LOT like Dante?

"Hey guys, let's get going," Avery said, motioning for them to follow her. Our group did and we came to a large, hotel, house-thing. Dmitri unlocked the door and let us inside.

"Ladies, this will be your home while you stay in the wonderful village of Scaleswind!" He said.

"Why thank you, Sir Dmitri," Avery said, giving a fake curtsey. He gave a small laugh and left, closing the door behind him. We all claimed our rooms and fell asleep.

I started to wake up. As my eyelids opened, I saw all of the girls standing over me.

"Ah!" I screamed.

"(Y/N), we found out what happened. So, what was going on between you and Laurance?" Alexia asked, a small smirk forming on her face.

"Wh-what are you talking about?" I said, nervously smiling.

"(Y/N), (Y/N), don't pretend like you don't know what we're talking about," Lillia said, sitting on the edge of the bed. The rest of the girls did the same.

"I-I don't really want to talk about it..."

"I heard that Aphmau kissed him to bring him back and then he totally forgot about you. Can I go kill him now?" Alexia said, her eyes lighting up at the words 'kill him.' Avery slowly shook her head, and Alexia made a sad face. They all gave me a group hug. Then, someone walked in through the door. It was Laurance. Alexia looked up and hissed at him, hold my head close to her. Hazel gave him the death glare, while Lillia shook her head disapprovingly. Avery did a sassy hair flip and looked away from him. He looked at me. I shrugged and he left. The broke the hug and Alexia walked up to the door and slammed it. I give her a confused face.

"What? That's what he get's for breaking your heart. My next step is breaking his face," she said, cracking her knuckles. That's one of my best friends right there.

"Oh! I almost forgot!" Lillia said, throwing me a bag.

"New clothes," Hazel said with a smile.

"Ya know, you guys are literally the best right?"

"We are aware!" Avery said.

"Now, we'll leave and you get changed. Let's make Laurance so jealous he beg to have you back!" Hazel said, high-fiving Alexia. Now I'm scared. The rest of the girls left the room and I got changed. I was honestly surprised when they said the would make Laurance jealous they would make me wear something a little more, revealing. But luckily, they didn't do that. I went outside and the girls were all wearing new outfits as well.

"Now, we are the most awesome, kick-butt, swagalicious, fashion-forward group of fighters there are out there!" Avery said, striking some poses along with the rest of the gang. I soon joined as well and we all laughed at our randomness. Then, I felt something was off. I looked out the window. Shadow Souls, not again.

"Guys stay here," I commanded.

"What is it?" Hazel said looking out the window

"Shadow Souls..." Avery said, her voice trailing off. I ran out the door, turning into my Shadow Knight form. I had this horrible headache for some reason. I started to fight some off. Then, one grabbed me by the shoulders and stared at me. The headache got worse, feeling something like your brain was trying to break out of your skull, except ten times worse. I lost total control over myself. I fell to the ground.
