A Book of Prompts

1. You sneak your dog a piece of venison and the next day, he's sprouted antlers and you notice your mother's just eaten some of the same venison.

2. You're out hiking and you get caught in a storm and when you hike back home, you don't recognize your parents anymore.

3. You've been dared to spend the night in an old haunted house, but when you get there, you find someone else there also. They look like they've been there for weeks and they explain that the house isn't haunted, but once you're in, you can't get out.

4. You are sent by mistake to a boot camp instead of your misbehaving doppleganger who is left to live your life while you're gone.

5. There is a watch that, when you set it the time it latches on to time itself. For twenty four hours at a time, you can mess with time for yourself and other people.

6. In the attic of your grandparent's house, you find a little door in the roof that should open to the outside, but instead, opens to the basement of the summer cabin in the mountains.

7. You discover a book your mother has kept hidden from you and when you read it, it's about you, but none of the things in the book ever happened to you.

8. Your brother hits his head and now talks about another member of your family that you've never heard of and he insists they are in every family portrait you have.

9. "Get out of here!" "But--!" "Get out or it will learn to chase you too."

10. You try out a tube of lipstick and find yourself saying things without being able to control it.
