A Book of Prompts

1. A whole world where everyone sees in black and white and color is an expensive commodity.

2. A world where no one knows where children come from, but that they only arrive and are to be raised.

3. There are several main beings who rule the world, though the world doesn't always know it.  Each are in charge of historical events.  One in charge of nations, others in charge of storms.  You are in charge of wars.  Why and when do you choose to make wars.

4. Learning to read is an esteemed honor for the rich and wealthy.  Writing however, is forbidden except for the chosen six.  What do they write for the masses to read?

5. You are the princess in a tower, but very quickly you realize you are not alone with a dragon.  You are alone with something much worse.

6. You are a tree weaver.  You weave the parts of the tree together that make it the kind it is.  You can weave pine trees and other kinds.  Then you find the parts of a magic tree, but only some and you mix it with another tree.

7. You are able to change your appearance based on how you fix your hair.  Braids make you look young and childish.  A bun makes you look old as the hills. 

8. You are a matchmaker for two finishing schools; a boys' and a girls', but the two schools hate each other. 

9. Those who are put in an enchanted sleep are actually the lucky ones.  Hey don't want to be wakes up, but in their sleep they know they will be.  Why is it better to be asleep?

10. Ache and everything you do in your life is rated and if your scores are not high enough, you are eliminated.  But no one knows what elimination is.
