Sugar-Coated Bitterness

Solenn Pherina Melgo's POV

"Babe, Misha agreed to come with us this Saturday." I informed Clinton.

He lifted his gaze, I saw how his face lightened up then he smiled. Kanina pa ako salita ng salita but he wasn't listening, not at all.

Pero ngayong si Misha na ang pag-uusapan? Tsk, he's prepared to lose his COC battle.

"Oh yeah? That's good, that's good. Anyway, pupunta nga pala ako ngayon sa office ni Mr. Stranger Wolkzbin. I have to clarify some things, pahirapan pa naman makakuha ng appointment sa kanya." Sabi nya sakin.

My lips parted at the realization, he's going to leave me again?! Is he insane?!

"Ha? B-but what about me? Hindi mo pa ako pwedeng ihatid because I still have things to buy..." I complained, nasapo nya ang noo nya then he sighed.

"Okay, okay... Uhmm, what about this? Ipapasundo na lang kita sa driver mamaya, how does that sound to you?"

Nagbaba ako ng tingin, driver na naman ang magsusundo sakin? Seriously? I want to complain but I didn't or maybe I couldn't.

"Goodbye, Pink. I love you," Then he kissed me on my forehead and went away.

Naiwan akong nakatanga sa loob ng isang restaurant dito sa mall. I sighed and leaned on the chair, what do I expect?

Hindi naman kasi ako si Misha para mag-cancel sya ng appointment para lang manatili sa tabi ko. Para makasama at mapasaya ako.

Hindi ako si Misha, I am not the woman he loves. I bit my lip and silently cried, kinulong ko ang mukha ko sa dalawa kong kamay.

I cried and cried, I don't even care if people here are staring at me! Screw them, I'm emotionally tired for Christ's sake!

"Uhh, Miss? Ayos ka lang ba?"

Napatigil ako sa pag-iyak. Ako ba ang kausap ng guy na nagsalita? Nag-angat ako ng tingin just to see a tall guy looking at me and he's handing me a handkerchief.

"What do you want from me? Go away."

Sometimes, I'd like to regret my lack of energy. I mean, why do I really lack energy?! That, I don't know but all the people around me is fussing for me to change it.

And the worst part is that the Great and Bitter much Misha is always making fun of me!

"Pfft hahaha, Uhmm... My apologies," Pigil ang tawa nyang sabi.

My brow arched, how dare he laugh at me!! Especially at my current state!

"Don't you dare laugh at me, you jerk!" I said slowly, which made him chuckle again.

"I'm sorry, Miss. It's just that I can't tell whether you're snobbing me or not."

How I wish I could just slap his face, but I wouldn't do it. Sayang ang handsome face nya eh.

"I'm Taeyung Lee, by the way. But you can call me Ae if you want." He let out his right hand and I just stared at it for a moment before I accepted it.

"I'm Solenn Pherina Melgo, Sophie for short." I said.

Keyla Jimenes' POV

Napabuntong hininga ako at bagsak ang balikat na napasandal sa swivel chair na kaharap ng computer ko.

Gusto kong itapon palabas ang CPU at basagin ang screen, kaya lang masyado kong mahal 'to kaya kahit ano pang kasalanan ang magawa nito ay kaya kong palagpasin.
