Unknown [Completed]

No matter how amazing it was to spend some time with both Daniel and Macy, Daniel had to leave way too soon. But the Brazilian GP was just around the corner and he has to do his job. I haven't seen him much since, but he's supposed to Skype me later on. Today is Thursday, which means later on he will have the press conference. For some reason, he really wanted to talk to me before that. I'll find out why soon enough I guess. Just then a message pops up, telling me Daniel is calling me. I quickly answer with a smile on my face.

"Hey!" I greet him happily, a smile on my face.

"Hey baby, how are you?" Daniel asks, a smile on his face as always.

"I'm okay, a bit tired. You?" I ask as I think back to the last few days. I have been pretty tired, mostly because I'm up a huge part of the night thinking about my current situation, which I still haven't told anyone about.

"Also a bit tired."

"Then why did you want to call so early?"

"Because I have to talk to you about something before the press conference."

"What's that?"

"I told my PR about you and Macy."

"Okay, and?"

"She wants me to tell the world."

"What, why?" I ask shocked. I didn't expect this, not so soon.

"She doesn't want people to find out from other people or from pictures that might surface of the three of us together. She thinks that if that happens, people won't trust me as much anymore or something, I don't know. Anyway, I told her I had to talk to you about it. I won't do it if you don't want it."

"What would you tell them?"

"That we're together and that Macy is our daughter. That we met years ago, but lost contact. That I didn't know about Macy until recently and that if I would've known, I would've taken care of the both of you."

"Nothing about the one night stand?"

"Not a word. My PR doesn't want me to mention that and neither do I."

"Same here."

"So, what do you say?" Daniel asks and I think about it for a few moments. People will find out eventually, that's just the way it is. And his PR is right, it's better that the fans hear it from Daniel than from somewhere else.

"Okay, you can tell everyone. But as little details as possible."

"Of course, I'll say as little as possible! Thank you Lyd, that means a lot."

"No problem, it's only a matter of time before people find out anyway. At least now we can control what they know."

"Exactly. Thank you for understand Lyd, you're the best."

After my Skype conversation with Daniel, I make my way over to Pascalle's place along with Macy. Macy always love going over to Pascalle and it gives me the opportunity to have a girl talk. And that's exactly what I need right now.

"Hey, what's up?" Pascalle says as Macy and I walk in.

"I need to talk to you," I say as we sit down on the couch. Macy walks off to spare room, where Pascalle keeps some toys for her, in case she's staying over.

"What's wrong?"

"I don't really know how to say this."

"Just say it as it is, I won't judge, you know that."

"I know, but when I say it out loud, it becomes real," I sigh, which makes Pascalle looks at me confused.

"Is it that bad?"

"No, but it's scary."

"Okay, now I'm worried."

"When Dan and I were in Mexico, we got... intimate," I say, not really knowing how else to say it with Macy close-by.

"You slept together."

"Yes. And I thought we did it safe, but it turns out, we didn't."

"You're pregnant?" Pascalle exclaims in surprise.

"I think I might be."

"Have you taken a test yet?"

"No, not yet. But I feel something has changed."

"Already? It hasn't been that long since Mexico."

"Yeah, I know, but it feels the same as with Macy."

"Stay here, I'll be right back," Pascalle says as she gets up.

"Where are you going?"

"To the store to buy a test," Pascalle says before walking out of her apartment. I chuckle at her reaction. It doesn't take Pascalle too long to get back and she hands me the test.

"Here goes nothing, I guess," I say as I make my way to the bathroom. I take the test and go back to the living room, where Pascalle has Macy on her lap as she reads her a book.

"Done?" Pascalle asks as I sit down next to her.

"Yes, now we just have to wait."

"Does Daniel know?"

"No, not yet."

"Why didn't you tell him yet?" Pascalle asks and I shrug.

"I'm scared of his reaction."

"You'll have to tell him eventually."

"I know, I know," I sigh, hoping I can avoid that conversation with Daniel for as long as possible.

"He loves you Lyd, you don't have to worry about him leaving you or something."

"I know, but it's so soon. We haven't been together for that long and we're still kind of figuring things out."

"Don't try to worry too much, everything will work out," Pascalle says, trying to comfort me. It works until the timer goes off. Which means that everything will change in the next few moments.

"I can't do this!" I exclaim as I get up from the couch. I start pacing around as Pascalle takes the test from the table.

"Do you want me to look?"

"Please?"

"Okay, the test is... positive," Pascalle tells me. I stop pacing around and for a moment, it feels like the world stops turning.

"I'm pregnant?"

"You're pregnant," Pascalle confirms. A bunch of different emotions flow through me. Happy, scared, nervous and happy again.

"Dan and I are having another baby," I whisper, mostly to myself. I can't believe it.

"You are! Macy is gonna be a big sister!" Pascalle exclaims, clearly very excited.

"How am I gonna tell him?"

"Just tell him, he'll be happy, I know it."

"But I can't tell him over the phone or something. I have to tell him in person!"

"Yeah, that's true," Pascalle agrees and I try to think about the best way and the best time to Daniel about this. And to be honest, I don't know if that exists.

"I won't see him until after Abu Dhabi."

"Guess you'll have to wait until after Abu Dhabi then."

"But how do I keep something like this from him?"
