Introducing, Giants

Fletcher Parker's POV

"Has she text back yet?!" I asked my son. "No. She hasn't said a word." He replied. "Ugggh!" I yelled slamming my fist against the wooden table, leaving a crack down the middle. "I had a few shifters head down to the doctors that Destiny had been at a few hours ago. They should be back any minute---"

BANG! The door flew open revealing the bunch of shifters I sent to get Destiny's doctor. They were dragging an utterly confused and bruised man behind them. "Look what we got boss!" Steven said. "I see, and your sure this is hers?" I asked. "yeah he even said it himself." Jason interrupted. "Has he told you where she's gone?" "No all he said was that he forgets things easily." Steven confessed.

Short term memory loss. "Shit, I didn't know her doctor had short term memory loss." I mumbled to myself. But unfortunately my son, Shane, had heard what I said and he whispered back to me, "all we can do is try." I nodded my head then walked toward the doctor. "What is your name?" I asked. "River Blue... Why am I here? This is not my office? Who are you people? What do you want?!" He asked so many questions that my mind was twisting and turning.

Well, at least he knows his name. "Good, now what is your power?" I asked calmly ignoring all his questions. "umm... I don't know." He confessed. Of course. "did you have Destiny Stone at your office a few weeks ago?" I asked impatiently. "Ah yes! Miss Stone. What a cute young lady. I told her to go find some people to help her with her new powers." "Cute? You got that right. Who are these 'people' you told her to go see? And what new powers? I thought she could only control the natural elements." My son jumped in on the conversation. Did my son, just call Destiny, "cute" ?

And I guess this guy doesn't have short term memory loss too bad. "Oh she went to she the mages. But I forgot to tell her where they were. She has 3 sets of powers. You didn't know that? The natural set, the past present and future set, which Destiny is currently getting, and the pure set. I wonder if they visited Marina's grandma yet. Since she half witch and half Mage. And surprisingly she is one of the guardians of the 3 sets. The natural set to be exact."

Wow at least knew that much. "Marina? isn't that the girl we kidnapped along with the King and Queen?" I asked turning to my son. "Yes." "is it possible to find a way to her her grandmas house?" I said. "Maybe, I'll go get Brandon." Shane said. Then he left to go get Brandon our 'computer geek'.

when he came back into the room, he was pulling Brandon along with him. He was clutching his computer tightly in his hands. "try to locate marina's grandma's house." I ordered him. He nodded his head and sat down, typing away. "You can let him go now, he probably won't even remember our conversation." I said signaling for the 2 guys that were holding him, to let him go and take him away from here.

They let him go and started pushing him towards the door. I sat down and thought about what Shane had said about Destiny earlier. Was Shane beginning to have feelings for the princess? Speaking of, had he even met her yet? No. he can't, he can't go liking the enemy, he'll get over it.

Destiny's POV

It was at least an hour past the time me and Blaze had our... Conversation. Thunder and Marina said they were going to be a little late, so me and Blaze watched TV and took naps. And soon enough, thunder and Marina were coming through the door. "Hey guys, sorry we're late." Marina apologized. "So are you ready to go?" I asked. And they replied with head nods and yes's.

I grabbed the picnic basket and put my hood over my head, my bright red hood. We walked through town with Marina leading the way, attracting no unwanted attention. As we exited the town, we reached a forest. The trees had dark green leafs with caramel brown bark. it was beautiful. "so where exactly does your grandma live?" I asked while looking around the forest.
