~3~ Introducing Giants

On the border of RockRose and Cinuvia. just a couple steps ahead. Well have to go through a canyon to get to part of RockRose though." she answered. "Okay." we walked a little further until we reached a ginormous canyon with rock walls as high as 50 busses stacked on top of each other diagonally. "Whoa..." "after heading through the canyon, we have to go through yet another forest... And unfortunately, I haven't been to my grandmas in ages... So I don't know which path to take..." Marina said.

I stared at the 2 ways into the canyon. "You don't know what? " Me, Blaze and said in unison. "So where going to have to split up?" Blaze asked worriedly. " I guess..." I said. " me and Destiny will have to go through this way, it's too narrow for you boys. And besides if we find the way then Destiny can contact you." Marina said. "No! every time I leave you end up getting hurt! Or taken! and I'm not letting that happen again!" Blaze yelled looking at me.

thunder put a hand on his shoulder. "there's no damn way you can fit in their. You gonna have to let her go." he said trying to calm him. I gave him a reassuring stare, saying 'I'll be all right'. Then I told him in my mind, "just let me go. I'll be fine. I'm strong and you know it. I'll be all right." He heard me and looked down. "Ugh! I swear! If you do not show up at her grandmas house, I'm going to go on a shifter killing rage." He replied then stormed into the passageway. I too myself looked down, but I trudged into my passageway, with Marina following.

"i hope this is the way to the forest." I mumbled. "Me too" Marina agreed. We walked and walked. But it seemed like there was no end. But finally we saw the outline of an object and raced towards it. smiling and laughing. when we reached the unknown object we we noticed it was the end of the canyon and that it was a tree.

"we've reached the end of the canyon. What now?" I asked. "Contact Blaze. Tell him we're here. Safely." So I called Blaze through my powers and told him,

"hey I'm alive and safe. We've made it to the end."

"Ok what should we do? Keep going or turn back?"

"You can't fit through the passage we took. I guess your going to have to keep going."

"Fine. See you soon."

"We are going to have to wait and see if their passage comes to the forest too. they can't turn back and go through our passage, they'll get stuck." I informed Marina. She nodded her head and sat next to the tree, leaning up against it. And soon after, I did the same. but after a couple minutes of talking and giggling, we fell asleep.

Blaze's POV

Why?! Why would I let her go?! Am I that stupid? For some reason I couldn't forget her words; "just let me go. I'll be fine. I'm strong and you know it. I'll be all right." Let her go? Hell no! Something's gonna happen and I know it. And I, will not be there to save her. Dammit! We walked through the passage and found no end. But then I heard, "hey I'm alive and safe. We've made it to the end."

"Ok what should we do? Keep going or turn back?" I asked.

"You can't fit through the passage we took. I guess your going to have to keep going." Dammit.

"Fine. See you soon."

"They made it to the end of their passage. Destiny said to keep going though." I told him. "ok" then all of the sudden, we heard the walls rumbling. "What the hell--" BOOM! A loud boom rumbled through the passageway, followed by a ginormous creature jumping in front of us.

"dammit" I cursed under my breath. "ROARRRR!" The monster roared so loud it shook the walls. I glared at it and lit a fireball. "giant..." I threw the fireball at the giants face, however it just blew the fire away, only leaving smoke. He laughed at us making the ground quake.

Thunder shot some electric at him, but he didn't budge. I grabbed my sword which immediately was surrounded by flames. Thunder did the same, but his sword was surrounded by little flecks of electric. I lunged at the monster with full force but he still didn't budge. the giant picked me up with his incredibly large hand, and tossed me against the wall. "AHHH!" I screamed with pain. The monster turned to get Thunder, but before I could see what was happening, I blacked out. why is this giant attacking us? Giants are usually friendly and kind....

Destiny's POV

BOOM! I awoke to the sound of a loud boom. "Marina! I think the boys are in trouble!" I practically screamed while shaking her frantically. ROARRRR! Oh My God. A Giant. "Blaze? Blaze, are you alright?" No answer. Shit! Marina started wake up at the loud noises occurring.

"What the hell? Where's it coming from?" She asked. "over there." I pointed to a tunnel 'round the corner of the forest. Then we heard another boom. BOOM! But this time it was louder and closer. We turned around and saw a giant. "Boomer? Oh my god! Boomer!" I heard Marina yell, and I stood there, dumbfounded.

"you know this giant?" I asked. "yeah! He is a friend of my grandmother." few! "Hey Marina! Look how big you've grown! I haven't seen you in ages! Did you come to see your grandma?" "Yes, and I brought a few friends with me as well. By the way, have you seen 2 guys?" She asked. "well we found 2 intruders headed in the direction of your grandmothers house. one a flamer, and the others a electrifier. Is that them?" "Yes. would you mind

taking us to them?" "Sure." he replied. then we were picked up by a big hand and taken towards the other passage. Soon after we were set down in front of another giant who was currently fighting Thunder. But Blaze was passed out in the corner. "Tiny! Stop it! Bad giant!" Marina yelled.

Tiny, the giant, stopped what he was doing and put his head down. "Sorry, nia." tiny said. "nia?" I asked. "that's his nickname for me..." She mumbled. I raced over to Blaze and took out my stone. I laid it on him and he immediately started to heal.

soon his eyes fluttered open and he regained on consciousness. "thank god, you had me worried there for a bit." I smiled at him as he started to stand up. he took me in a hug trying to protect me. "shit giants." He said. "it's ok, their fine. they thought you were intruders." I told him. He sighed in relief. "hey guys can you take us to my grandmas house?" Marina asked the giants.

"we can't take you to your grandmas, but tiny can take you to the middle of the forest." boomer said. "that's fine thanks." so once again we were picked up and put in a large hand. We heard thumps as the giant walked towards the forest. seconds later we were put down. "bye nia!" The giant said while waving. then he walked away.

"We should camp out here." Thunder said. he left and then a minute later he came back with a armful of sticks and twigs which he set down in front of us. "Blaze, would you do the honers?" "Gladly." Blaze replied.

then he lit the sticks and twigs making a fire. Blaze sat down so did everyone else. So I sat down beside him and he stuck an arm around me.

After a couple hours of talking, everyone fell asleep, except me. I just thought about today's happenings.

giants, who would've thought. Speaking of giants, why would Marina's grandma have giants guarding her? "well we found 2 intruders" why are the giants guarding Marina's grandma? soon enough, I laid my head down on Blazes lap and closed my eyes. then I let myself sleep. ill find out soon enough. just, sleep.
