"What do you mean she broke her ankle then all of a sudden it wasn't broken anymore?" Sinewy scowled, slamming her hands on the kitchen table.
"That's what happened! If you don't believe me! Ask Demure, she was there!" Delightful said, yelling at her.
"I'm asking you, not her! Now explain to me how did she just instantly heal?!"
"I don't know!"
I watched them from the corner of the kitchen. Sinewy had no idea I was looking. I had a small knife in my pocket. I was going to cut her up she'd hit my mother.
Sinewy grabbed Delightful by her neck and began choking her.
I grabbed the knife in my pocket to see how far she'd go.
She leaned in close to Delightful's ear.
"If I find out you know more to the story or that you're hiding things from me...I'll put you back on the streets as a prostitute...I'll you back to Earth. Do you hear me?"
Delightful began crying and struggling to breath.
"I SAID DO YOU HEAR ME?!" Sinewy screamed with burning rage.
Her screaming felt like it shook the whole palace.
"YES!" Delightful cried, she noticed that I was watching and what I had in my hand.
Just by the look in her eyes, I could tell that she was telling me not to do it. I put my knife back in my pocket.
Sinewy let go of her neck then grinned at her.
"I'm goin' out for tonight. I love you." She said, playing a kiss on Delightful's forehead.
She nodded and tears poured down her cheeks even more. I don't like this. I don't like this one bit.
Sinewy finally left and I paced into the kitchen to comfort Delightful.
I wrapped my arms around my mother and hugged her. She used to be so happy but I see why she isn't so happy anymore.
She sobbed quietly, drifting into my embrace which seem to calm her down.
"Mother, can I ask you something?"
"What is it?" She said through her sniffles.
"What's the real reason Sinewy got rid of The Healers?"
She looked down at me with wide eyes. That's when I knew that she knew something.
"I don't think I should share that with you right now Baroness."
"I need to know mother."
"Why?"
"Because I saw Astral...she isn't dead. She healed Elegance then ran off."
"That's impossible Baroness."
"Mother, I know what I saw."
"I guess I might as well tell you the truth."
She sat down at the table then I sat down in front of her.
"Long ago...The Healers ruled this planet. They were the ones that made the medicine to be sent out onto Earth. Medicine that helped cure just about anything. When Sinewy found this planet, she didn't know that the Healers roamed here. They agreed to give her this Planet only if she'd continue to share these resources on this planet with the people on Earth and she did at first but she got greedy. Starry, Astral's mother confronted her about it and she was furious. Sinewy order all the Healers to be burned alive. I felt so horrible because I wanted them burn...there screams still replay in my mind. That's why it's so hard for me to believe that you saw Astral."
