The New Beginning (Sequel to Split H.S.)

My eyes fluttered open, and I stretched out in my bed. I felt Eli move as I did so. Once I got up, I went and looked at my calendar. Hey! Only 6 days until uncle Louis' birthday! I think today my parents were planning on putting up our Christmas tree and decorating it. I walked over to where Eli was still stretched out, and might I add shirtless. "Morning" I said. "Morning" he said yawning. "Aww still tired? It's only 2 o'clock" I said laughing as I sat next to him in my big bed.

He laughed along with me. And for the first time in a long time. I felt happy. I fell forward and leaned into his embrace. His arms wrapped around me and he kissed my forehead. He tilted my head up towards him and finally kissed me. Something I had been waiting for all day. No words had to be said, when we pulled apart we walked downstairs and talked with my parents for awhile. "Maddie, we are going to decorate the Christmas tree today". My mom told me. I nodded, but grabbed Eli's hand and walked into the kitchen with him. I didn't want to rush things with him and I again but, what if he wanted a relationship again? I walked over to the cupboard and grabbed me a coffee cup, and Eli one too. I then grabbed my Sweet Cream Creamer, that I absolutely love and made us each a cup. I set them down on the kitchen island then hopped up on there. Eli sat between my legs, his arms wrapped around my waist. "Hey, I meet with the salesmen about that house today. If you wanna come with, you can". I told him. He said he would. His head was leaning against my chest, and every now and then I would feel a few soft kisses. I smiled to myself. I slowly moved out of the way, and he stood up. "You wanna go get ready with me"? I asked. "Yeah let's do that". He smiled. I grabbed his hand, and led us both upstairs. I jumped in the shower, quick and I heard the door open. I turned around Eli was there. "Jesus, Eli. You scared me". I said. I turned back around and finished washing up. Once I was done, Eli did his stuff while I got ready in my bedroom. I picked out a red flannel shirt, and a pair of stressed jeans. I slipped those on and, Eli walked out already dressed. He must of had his stuff in the bathroom, I thought to myself. I did the rest of my stuff, while Eli waited for me. "Alright. Ready to go"? I asked. He hopped up off the bed and said he was. I am pretty excited about this house. It is really nice. Alaina will love it. Who by the way, is at Eli's moms for awhile. Once we pulled up to the house, Eli didn't even speak he was just excited. He really liked it. I'm happy. We got out, and the sales guy was there. His name is drew. We shook hands, and followed him inside. "So this property is listed for $778,459". He told us. I heard Eli gulp. "It has 23 acres of open land. A huge kitchen, 3 bedrooms, & 2 bath". I nodded. Then he showed us around.
