"Jess, you do know that swearing is completely inappropriate right? Kelsey asked as if I didn't know. We were sitting out side in a vacant spot. Guess where? Riiiight, under a tree.

"Says you? I raised an eyebrow. I was really getting tired of Kelsey right now. Ever since I asked her about the new guy's name she's been up my ass ever since.

"Hey, I might swear a lot but it's not a hobby." Kelsey pointed out.

"So swearing for me is a hobby?" I asked rather mockingly.

"Well yeah- I mean no. You gotta admit Jake does look pretty good, the word sexy comes to mind so there's no need to get annoyed." Kelsey
glanced at me.

"Yes, it is if you're constantly talking about it." I replied.

"Look, don't blame me if I see something hot and brag about it. It's completely normal." Kelsey stated playing with a leaf.

"For you that is." I mumbled looking up into the tree. What if the trees are calling me?

"Okay, okay let's skip that topic shall we and talk about something else." Kelsey said dropping the leaf and smiling at me.

"What do you suggest Kelsey?" I asked. Why is Kelsey talking so much today, but doesn't she always?

"So there's this party tonight right and I was wondering if we could maybe go?" Kelsey asked hesitant fiddling with her fingers.

"You do realize I'm a nerd right?" I chuckled.

"And?" Kelsey asked impatiently. Like wtf is she being so impatient I'm the one that's dealing with her mouth.

"And no one wants a nerd at their party." I snapped narrowing my eyes.

"Oh come on it will be fun, what could go wrong?" Kelsey smiled.

I looked at her with my mouth agape seriously not believing a word she just said. "why did you have to say that? You do know something is definitely going to go wrong right?" I asked nervously.

"Stop being so paranoid do you really believe that shit?" She asked.

I looked away from her biting my lip. "Yeah I do" I mumbled hoping she wouldn't hear me.

Now you're probably wondering what is going on. Well let's see.

  Ten minutes earlier

Why do people eat strawberries are they delicious? Even though I haven't eaten one in my life I think it's disgusting, but that's what some people tell me.

Hurrying to get to second period early I realized, why is mankind so stupid?

I'm knocked out of my thoughts when I collide with a wall. Second time this week, I wouldn't be surprised if it was Jake. I looked up and rolled my eyes.

I stand corrected. It is.

"Why is it that I can't seem to go a week without seeing your fucking face?" Jake rolled his eyes.

"Hello to you too Jake." I waved looking down at my feet.

He looked at me blankly with his eyebrows raised as if silently asking 'how does she know my name?, but then again I don't care' kinda look.

"Can I ask you a question?" I asked shyly fixing my bag pack.

"You just did" he replied. I will never get over how deep, smooth and hot his voice is.

"Well, ah, that wasn't the question. I was wondering why do you hate me so much?" Gosh I'm so dumb of all things I could've asked I asked that? The guy doesn't even know me.

"I don't hate you, I just don't like seeing you there's a difference" He paused with a bit of amusement before continuing, "And if you'll excuse me I actually have a life." He said before walking off.

Well that's embarrassing.
