The Selection truth or dare.

Okay sorry for not updating here for a while, well I just did and your not even reading this are you?

Chapter 6

America's POV

"Um... I... i.. Um..." Aspen looks confused at me and I continue to stutter, "I.... What?! You don't know him!" I say. Maxon looks seriously at me. "America you have such a bad lying face." He says. I laugh at him, "your hilarious. pssh..." I try to dodge the question. But no one moves on from the topic. I slump, "Fine, Aspen and I use to date." I say. Maxon's eyes grow large and I give him a look that says, not now. He recomposes himself and everyone else here looks confused. it was my turn but I had a blank mind so I just turn to Celeste. "Truth or dare Celeste?" I moan.

Celeste crosses her arms, she still has 3 turns to go before she can skip, "America, I pick truth but I really want to hear more about this romance between the guard and you." I sigh, everybody does. "Name two people you hate and why you hate them." I say, she crosses her arms, "Well first off I hate you, your just awful acting all innocent and stuck up, and Marlee shes so loud, SWEETIE YOU DON'T GOTTA YELL EVERYTHING!" She yells at Marlee, Marlee smiles back, "OK!" She yells.

Celeste rolls her eyes, "Aspen, truth or dare?" Aspen was obviously out of it, he was still in shock that I told Maxon about... Us. He snapped out of it, "Huh? Um.. Dare?" He said unsure. She grinned, " I dare you to, Kiss America for a minute." My jaw drops, "What?!" Maxon glances at Aspen pleadingly as if begging him not to. I am with Maxon, but Aspen steps closer to me, "I'm not one to skip a dare, Mer you know that!" I step back, He advances faster than I anticipated.

I stumble back and fall into his arms, he presses his face against mine. I squirm, I am screaming but with a shut mouth it sounds like a moan. I manage to push myself out of his grip and onto the ground. He stares wide eyed as I spit onto the ground. Maxon quickly is there to lift me up. "You okay?" he asks. I nod and go take my place, Celeste now knows how to mess with me. I gulp. she sees the fear in my eyes and smirks. it was now Aspens turn. He looks to Maxon, "Maxon, truth or dare?" Maxon shivers a little bit, "Dare."

Aspen rubs his hands together, "I dare you to... Run into the city screaming, I'm a dick and everyone hates me." Maxon looks at me and I shrug and lip say, could be worse. he nods, "Fine." We walk down to the nearest city and maxon runs around and screams, "I'm a dick and everyone hates me!" People come outside and watch Maxon running around. I can't help but laugh, it was hilarious.

Maxon runs up to a little girl and picks her up and swings her around singing, "I'm a dick and everyone hates me." The little girl starts to laugh and point at him, not knowing what he was actually saying she points at him and giggles, "hehe, you a dicky?" I bust out laughing, I LOVE THIS CHILD!

Maxon set the girl down and quickly ran back to the castle, we sat down and Maxon looks to Marlee, "Marlee Truth or dare?" He says out of breath. "Dare." Marlee responds, Maxon sighs, "I dare you to...Go up to the first person you see in the castle and say they need to lose weight, then a few seconds later say you were kidding and offer to buy them fries and a shake." He says, Marlee nods, I walk into the castle with her. The first person we see, is the queen, "Go get her marlee," I say. Marlee gulps then walks up to the queen, "Pardon me your majesty, but I have seemed to notice you have been...uh.... putting on a bit of weight lately?" The queens jaw drops.

"Young Lady!!! I-" Marlee cut her off, "I was kidding, you look great, but I think to apologize I should buy you something, maybe fries and a shake?" She asks, The queen nods and drags Marlee to the cafeteria. I head back to the garden laughing my had off, Maxon looks confused, "Wheres Marlee?" He asked. I smiled, "Buying your mother a shake and fries." I say his jaw drops, "No way, she said it. To. My. MOTHER?!" I smile and nod. Maxon bursts out laughing. I smile at him as he falls to the ground in tears. 

"Maxon? You okay, it's not that funny." I say, he shakes his head as if I'm not understanding the whole thing. "What?" I ask, "You don't know how my mom is, she doesn't take things like that lightly, shes probably throwing fries at Marlee as we speak." I smile at the thought of Marlee getting pelted with fries.

Since it was Marlees turn we have to wait, after five minutes Marlee comes out, and its hilarious. She is soaked in Milkshake from head to toe and fries stick to the shake. I laugh, "whats up junk food goblin?" I ask, she makes a mocking face and looks like shes about to make a smart remark when shake drips into her eye. She swears instead, "Damn desserts!" She yells. I bust out laughing and I'm not the only one, Maxon, Aspen and Celeste are too. Marlee sits down rubbing her eye, She begins to look around the circle.

Before she can finish her whole scan of the group a loud yell comes from the castle, "MAXON!" The king yells, Maxon gulps and sits up, we follow behind slowly hiding in the shrubs, We follow Maxon into the palace and marlee leaves a milkshake trail. We follow him to a room filled with TVs. the king turns them on. The news reporters are talking and I hear through the door, "Breaking news today as the future king, Prince Maxon, Prances downtown singing, 'I'm a dick and everybody hates me." Our hidden cameras caught it all on video! Take a look." The king then pauses the show and puts a hand on his hip, "Care to explain?" He asks Maxon. I see Maxon gulp... Oh no....
