The Selection truth or dare.

Okay so I hope you laughed ur head off a lot and I can't wait to write this chapter, I asked a few of my friends, Thedivergentwriter, katie_kat10 and Bowtielover_11 for some juicy dares and I laughed my head off, and I know I can't dedicate this chapter to three people but just letting u know these are a few of my ideas and a few of there's!!! ENJOY!!! :)

Chapter 7

Maxons POV.

My father looks intensely at me expecting an answer. I begin to panic my palms sweat and my face goes pale. "IwantedtoplaytruthordareandIwas. daredtodothatandIdidntthinkitwould bebroadcast!Imsosososososorry father!" The truth blurts out of me I quickly cover my mouth.(in case you couldn't read that it says, I wanted to play truth or dare and I was dared to do that and I didn't think it would be broadcast!I'm so so so so so sorry father!)

I shuffle out of my dads reach if he were to attack. but he doesn't, he instead laughs, "TRUTH OR DARE!? I USED TO PLAY THAT WITH THE KING OF FRANCE HOW ELSE DO YOU THINK HE GOT THE NICKNAME TOLIET HEAD!? Ahem... I will let this slide Maxon." he says I smile gratefully, "Thanks fath-" he cuts me off, "If...." He says I sigh, there's always an 'if'. He continues, "If you let me play." I hear America slap her head in frustration. Obviously not wanting another player but I had no choice, "Fine." I say. I hear a group of groans from behind me and roll my eyes. The others will have to suck it up and deal with it.

I walk out to the gardens with everyone hanging their heads and dragging feet. whereas my father is practically skipping. I can't believe this! I have never seen him so happy!
We all get there and sit down Marlee seems to be grinning like she is plotting I sigh.... oh no... She looks to my father, OH NO... "King Clarkson." She sings my father looks eager, he really shouldn't be, "truth or dare?" She asks, my father looks smug, oh no. "Dare." He says, OH NO OH NO OH NO!!!!! "I dare you to throw a handful of worms at the queen."(Thedivergentwriter's idea)

My fathers expression drops. I can't help but laugh, he sends me a glare that shuts me up. I knew how absolutely terrified of worms my mother was. I've never known why. My father stood up and Marlee gave him a container of worms. I don't know where she got it, but dare I ask? I walked in with everyone else and My dad goes to the dinning hall where my mother was peacefully eating dinner. She looked up to see my dad. "Hello Clarkson, care to join me?" She asked. My father didnt answer. He quickly took a handful of worms and threw them. My mother screamed and I see one wiggle into her bra. She screams and starts running around screaming, "GET IT OUT GET IT OUT!!!!"

Marlee snickers behind me, "the worm is scoffocating in between her boobs." I stifle a laugh that burst out anyway. My mom races over to me but I run out of the room before she can get to me. My father is already back in the garden laughing his head off then mumbling 'your poor mother.'

I sit down and now it is my fathers turn, for the first time he looks around the group, his eyes land on Aspen and he begins to practically growl. "YOU!" He hissed. Aspen shrunk down, "Please forgive me it was a dare, I didn't intend to far in the hot tub." I laugh, "Wait you actually farted." Aspen looks dumbfounded, "Wait I wasn't suppose to?" We all laugh but my dad rolls his eyes, "Well Aspen I don't take things like that lightly, Truth or dare?" He asked he said it like if Aspen didn't pick dare he'd be strangled, "Dare." Aspen squeaked. My dad smiled,

"I dare you to get the guards Steve, Harold and William down to the palace salt water pool." (A/N: This whole dare is Bowtielover_11's idea.) Aspen looks confused, "Okay? He walks inside, we all stand there confused until I speak up. "Dad what are you doing?" He just laughs, all in good time my son." He says. He gets up and we all walk to the salt water pool, my dad goes to a lever and pulls it, suddenly a great white swims in from a cage on the side of a wall underwater, I didn't even know was there. The lever must have opened the cage. I look at my dad, "What's this for?!" I ask. "Oh... I thought of a new way to fire guards, if they can beat big tooth here, (A/N:Sorry my mind is blank and I couldn't come up with good names.) then I keep them because if they can beat him thy can beat any rebel." I gulp.

Aspen comes back a minute later. The guards stand around the pool, they haven't noticed the eleven foot shark looming in the depths of the salt water pool yet. My dad smiled warmly at them, 'William Harold, Steve, so good to see you. Hey you guys are on the chopping block, and to stay a guard rather than an 8 you will have to prove it." He says the guards exchange, "So jump in the pool." My dad finishes. Harold steps forward, "Well, your highness, I have always had a bad skin condition and I cant be in water for to long because my mother says I will wrinkle faster than a normal person by 0.67% and I really don't want to..." My dad cuts him off by shoving him in the pool.

Harold pops up out of the water, "the water is rather warm is it typically heated? I think my skin will be fine." Just as he finished his sentence Big tooth was out of the water and Harold was in his mouth. Big tooth ate Harold and swallowed without even chewing. No blood anywhere. I hear my dad sigh and say, "How did he get hired anyway?" He turned back to face the guards, "Okay so whos next?" the guards exchange looks, then look back at my dad. "I will be happy as an 8 thanks." They say then run away.

My dad yells to them, "YOU COWARDS!" We all stare in shock. We walk back to the group, it as Aspens turn. Once we sit down Aspen looks to Marlee, "Marlee truth or dare?" she gulps, "Uhhh.... Dare?" aspen thinks about it. "I dare you to..... go outside the castle and when someone walks by throw a watermelon onto the ground and then throw popcorn at it and scream DIE DEMON DIE!"

Marlee looked confused, "Why?" She asked. Aspen shrugged. We all walked outside the castle. Marlee waited until a citizen walked by. I saw the person and screamed then hid behind America. It was the blind kongfu cane master old lady. America rolled her eyes as Marlee smashed the watermelon against the pavement. Then threw popcorn at it and screamed DIE DEMON DIE!!!!!" The old blind woman screams, "I AM ONLY 50 I AINT DYING ANYTIME SOON!!!!!!!!!! AND I AINT NO DEMON!!!!!!!!!" America looked at me and an evil grin stretched across her face she looked back to the old woman. And put on her best impression of my voice, "ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT?!" She yelled. Her impression wasn't that bad either, the old lay flung her head in my direction. "I remember that voice, your the fake prince teenage mugger!!"

She rushed toward me flailing her cane. America stepped out of the way and I got another cane beat down. I walk back to the garden where everyone was waiting. I glare at America she just smirks. I stick my tounge out and my father put his hand on my shoulder, "Maxon, that was honestly the saddest thing I've ever seen."
