Clark Kent X Reader

I just wanted to take a second and thank each and every one of you who have been with me with this book since the beginning!! I am hoping to write more X Reader books, if you guys would like that in the future..Also, please check out my Wonder Woman x Sibling Reader books.

   Y/N'S POV

  When we made it to the hospital, I noticed there were reporters and news trucks all over the place.
  Clark had a hard time finding a place to park, but that did not stop us from keeping Jade quiet. She had woken up from her sleep and she was reaching for Clark, but I had to distract her with some of her toys.

  Clark finally found a spot, which just happened to be closest to the entrance. I thanked God, before Clark opened the car door for me.
  I sent him a smile, before I got out and unbuckled Jade's seat. I carefully took her out and handed her to Clark. Jade leaned on him.

  Clark took my hand and led us inside, before we rushed inside to find out where Bruce's room was. I was having a really hard time keeping my patience with the lady at the desk, until I realized that she may have already been irritated by the reporters trying to get in Bruce's room.

  I sighed saying,"Look if I do not get in there, then I will not be able to make sure that the uncle of my baby girl here will be okay. You may not believe me, but please..I need to make sure he is okay. He is a part of my family."

  She sighed, but sent me a smile saying,"Mr. Wayne is on the 3rd floor and it will be 4 doors down from the elevator."

  I thanked her, before I grabbed Clark's hand and pulled him to the elevator.
  Jade began to look at everything around her, and I noticed Clark was holding her very close to the elevator buttons.

  I went to tell Clark to move Jade away from the buttons, but she had already pressed like 3 buttons.

  I groaned in frustration and said,"Jade.."

  Jade tried to press another button, but Clark pulled her away and kissed her multiple times. Jade looked around and then I messed up Clark's hair. Finally, we finally made it to our floor.
  I made my way out of the elevator and had to count 4 doors down, since I sometimes needed to count things in my head.

  Outside of Bruce's room, The Commissioner, Barbara Gordon, and Helena Bertinelli were talking.

  I went to run into Bruce's room, but Helena pulled me back and asked me,"Who are you and why are you here?"

  I looked at Barb for help and she removed Helena's hands from my shoulders, before Barb turned to Helena saying,"You can trust her, and her name is Y/N. She is a close friend of Bruce's."

  Barb sent Clark a nod, before she noticed Jade in Clark's arms.

  Jade reached for her, while I just smiled and said,"Would you mind-"

  Barb waved it off and took Jade from Clark, before Clark and I went in together to see Bruce.
  Alfred was sitting at his bedside while all of the Batman family was present in his room, besides from Helena and Barb.

  Bruce appeared to be up and turned at hearing Clark and I enter the room; however, his eyes were barely opening.

  I immediately frowned and rushed over to his side before I asked him,"Bruce, what happened?"

  Alfred answered for him saying,"It appears Master Bruce was ambushed by a rather elite group that we have not seen in a long time. Do not worry, Mrs. Kent, Master Bruce will be just fine."

  Bruce did not look just fine to me, which made tears form in my eyes.

  Bruce slowly held out his hand for me to take, before I did and sniffed saying,"B..Bruce, I..I am sorry I..I was not there to help you. A..all those times you saved me, and..and I..I was not able to do the same for you."

  Bruce squeezed my hand, which I could tell brought him some pain, too.

  He said to me,"Y..Y/N, i..it comes a..along w..with the j..job and C..Clark i..is all you need."

  The way Bruce was talking to me was starting to scare me, before I started to cry mumbling,"B..Bruce, stop t..talking like t..that. Y..you a..are l..like my o..older br..brother."

  Clark put his hand on my shoulder and said to Bruce,"Bruce, try not to scare Y/N so much, okay? To her, you are her family and she needs you here. We all need The Batman."

  Bruce sent Clark a small smile, before Bruce turned to me saying,"I..If you are u..up for it, I..I could u..use some w..water."

  I immediately smiled and said,"I will get it for you!! Be right back!"

  Bruce and Clark laughed, while Dick asked confused,"But you just said-"

  Damian rolled his eyes saying,"Grayson, shut your mouth. Father needs water and Y/N will get it for him."

  Tim and Jason were asleep; however, I yelled in Jason's ear,"RED LIGHT!!"

  Jason screamed and fell out of his chair. I made a run for it and bought Bruce a water bottle from the vending machine.
  I wanted to get a snack, but I remembered my mission and ran back in the room.

  I handed the water bottle to Bruce, before he nodded to me and Clark used his X-ray vision to examine Bruce.
  I walked back out of the room and Helena was holding Jade now. Jade was holding onto Helena very tightly, but I could tell she had formed some kind of bond with her already.

  Helena noticed me and apologized saying,"I am sorry, Y/N. I should have asked you first."

  I waved it off and held out my hand saying,"N/N is fine, and you are more than welcomed to hold her."

  Helena sent me a smile, none the less, I could tell it was going to take her awhile to trust me. I was okay with that, because she just met me.

  I realized it was nearing the time I should feed Jade, so I gently took her from Helena and gave her her milk.
Jade stared at me while I fed her, which always made me smile and giggle a little bit. She was the cutest thing ever, given her stubborn nature. That came along with having a kid, though.

  Jade started to spit out her milk, which let me know she was done or she was choking. I slowly hit her back and she just pushed my hands away, and Jade reached for Helena again.

  I pouted saying,"You are going to treat mommy like that? Okay, then."

  Jade leaned on me, before I just smiled and handed her back to Helena.
  I walked back inside Bruce's room and laughed at Jason's pout.

  Tim tried to reach for Jason's hand, but Jason hit him across the face and Tim lunged at Jason.

  I immediately separated the two, before Alfred said,"Mrs. Kent, may I have a word?"
 
  I nodded and looked at Clark, before he just motioned for me to go with Alfred. Clark gave me a kiss and Bruce sent me a reassuring smile, then I began to make my way after Alfred.
