Chapter Fourteen

~Aaron's house~

Aphmau, Aaron, Hope and Rosy sat on the couch, watching "Steven Universe" on the television. Hope sat cross legged, crossing her arms and holding onto her hood. "...I still hate you guys." Hope says, cutting the silence. "Oh my Irene, we've been over this, it doesn't look bad!" Rosy says, glaring at her. "YOU TOOK AWAY MY BEAUTIFUL, FLOWING, COTTON CANDY LOCKS!" Hope shouts. "You're not bald! YOU STILL HAVE HAIR, AND IT WASN'T EVEN YOUR NATURAL HAIR COLOR!" Aphmau shouts, leaping across Aaron and Rosy to pull Hope's hood off. Once off, Hope huffs and plays with her now shoulder length hair, watching the T.V and mumbling to herself. It falls silent again. "Did anyone make any resolutions this year?" Rosy asks, breaking the silence. "Well...mine is too make better bad decisions." Hope says. "Do you guys have any?" Rosy asks, turning to Aphmau and Aaron. "...Not really." Aaron says. "I kinda figured." Aphmau says. "What about you?" Aaron says to her. "Well, I'm really not sure. People we're asking me at the party. I guess I just make my resolutions as I go, though I usually set myself up for disappointment...but, I'm not going to lie, they're pretty fun to make!" Aphmau says, laughing. "One should always look to improve themselves as they live their lives."  Aaron says. "...That's deep." Hope says. "That's exactly right!" Aph says. They all fall silent when they hear a low growl.  Rosy blushes in embarrassment and looks down. "...Are you hungry?" Aaron asks. "Well...a little..." Rosy admit. "Wanna go out to eat?" He asks. "Ah, sure! Where do you guys wanna go?" Rosy asks. "I have no preference. I do know that YOU two want to go to Olive Garden though." Aaron says, looking at Aphmau and Rosy. "FREE BREAD STICKS!" They shout in unison. "FREE FOOD!" Hope shouts. "We haven't been there since you moved so...if you want, I'm okay with it if you want to go there." Aaron says. "Well, okay! I just have to go to the bathroom and-" Rosy was cut off by the doorbell. Aaron opens the door to find Garroth, Laurence, and Travis (who he hasn't met before). "May I help you?" Aaron asks. "Are you Aaron?" Travis says. "Yes." Aaron responds. "Please to meet you. My name is Travis and I'm new on the block." Travis introduces himself. "Nice to meet you, I guess." Aaron says. "So tell me AARON-" Travis starts. Rosy, who had come up behind Aaron, gets pushed forwards by Aphmau. "Introduce yourself!" Aphmau mouths to Rosy. Rosy rolls her eyes. "I was gonna do it anyway!" Rosy mouth back. She coughs. "Hi! It's nice to meet you! My name is Rosy and this is-" Before Rosy could continue, Travis grabs her hand and kisses it. Aphmau covers her mouth to keep herself from laughing while Hope looses it and falls to the floor. "Well, aren't you a bit blunt, huh?" Rosy says, nervously laughing and wiping her hand on her sweater. "Good evening my vision of beauty...what's your name?" Travis says. "It's Rosy...like I said and...could you back up just a little bit...PLEASE." Rosy says, lightly pushing Travis away who was getting close to her face. "Oh of course! Anything!" Travis says. "Thanks! Oh...I have to admit...that was the first time anyone has kissed my hand..." Rosy trails off. "Wasn't it romantic?" Travis says. "Well...I just sneezed before and had no time to wash my hands so...now I'm pretty embarrassed so i'm going to shut up." Rosy says, backing up a little so she is now next to Aphmau. "...No matter, I consider those germs of affection." Travis says. Aphmau looks at Rosy, who is already looking at her.  "Well aren't you just-" Aphmau starts. "Charming?" Travis cuts her off. "No...not exactly..but, uh, A+ for effort?" Aph says. "HE'S SUCH A CREEP!" Hope shouts while laughing. "Well, I'd rather show you my affection as opposed to hiding it." Travis says. "...Well then. That's, uh, very nice of you. But we just met and everyone knows you can't marry someone you just met." Rosy says. "Another "Frozen" quote? Geez, you really like that movie." Aaron says. "Hey! It's a cute movie! You can't blame her." Aphmau says. "Uh-huh..." Aaron trails off. "You watched it with us!" Aphmau says. "Only because she made me." Aaron says, pointing to Hope. "Well, you didn't have too, hmph!" Rosy says, crossing her arms with a huff. "We were hanging out. I wanted to see you happy." Aaron says. "Aww, thank you!" Rosy says, smiling. "...But that doesn't mean I liked the movie." Aaron says. "...eh, fair enough." Aphmau says. "Such a shame. Ladies, I'd love to watch that movie with you and I'm SURE I'D enjoy it." Travis says, smirking and glancing at Aaron. "Really? You haven't seen it?" Rosy says, surprised. "Nope! And I'd be honored to view it with you first." Travis says. "...She knows all the songs to that movie by heart." Aaron says. "WAIT! YOU GUYS WATCH MOVIES TOGETHER? HOW OFTEN ARE YOU OVER HERE!?" Laurence shouts. "Actually, a lot! Right Aphmau?" Rosy asks Aph, who nods her head in agreement. "Ah, well if that's the case why don't we watch it now?"  Travis says. "Really? Wait...are you okay with this Aaron?" Rosy asks Aaron. "It's both of yours favorite movie right? We can just order a pizza." He says. "You're the best! Come on in!" Rosy says, stepping aside so they can all walk in. Hope regains herself and stands up, calling Travis a pervert under her breath as he walks by. Garroth and Laurence sit on the same couch, Hope sits in the chair upside down, and Aaron and Travis sit on the next couch. Aphmau helps Rosy set up the movie. "Are you guys sure you want to watch this?" Rosy says, after putting in the movie. "Absolutely!" Garroth says. "Why wouldn't we?" Laurence says. "Well, I..REALLY like this movie to point where it can get annoying and I know it's been a few years since it came out but I find it really cute and-" "Rosy, just put the movie on. We're fine. We're all comfortable here saying we watched the movie." Laurence says. "Really? I just-" "Yeah go on, put it on. You shouldn't be embarrassed to show us something you like- what kind of friends would we be if we of you girls for it?" Garroth says. "Thank you for thinking of us and taking an interest in the things we like! If anyone asks, you can just say we forced you to watch it!" Aphmau says. "You actually did force me to watch it." Aaron says. "Well...that's a different story." Aphmau says. "I don't see how you can watch anything with that bandana over your eyes." Travis says. "Whoah, salty AND a pervert!" Hope mumbles to herself. The room falls silent, with Garroth silently laughing and Laurence whispering, "Oh my Irene I can't believe he...". "I can see just fine. Thanks." Aaron says through gritted teeth. "MmHmm...maybe I should get one of those too...ya'know so I can look at things without people noticing." Travis says. "...Pardon?". "Stop it, Travis! He wears it over his eyes too-" Rosy starts but Aphmau slams her hand over her mouth. Rosy's eyes go wide and the two girls fall silent. "Are you girls okay?" Laurence asks. "Uh...y-yeah! We just have to...go to the little girls room! You guys can start to movie without us! We'll be right back!" Aphmau says, dragging Rosy away who's hair makes a shadow over her eyes. As soon as the two girls disappear, Travis turns to Aaron. "Good, they're gone. Oh, Aaron...are you and Aphmau or Rosy dating?" He asks. "Uh...no..." Aaron replies. "Oh...so they're free game for anyone~" Travis says. "Don't I feel appreciated." Hope says sarcastically. "ONLY FOR ME!" Garroth shouts, ignoring what Hope had said. "HEY!" Laurence shouts. "They're not 'game' for anyone." Aaron says. "Ahaa! So you DO like them!" Travis says. "I never said-" "So that's why you walk around without a shirt all the time! So, you think can attract her, eh!?" Travis cuts him off. "Uhm, no, I just-" "WELL, I HAVE A MUCH BETTER BODY THEN YOU! BEHOLD!" Travis shouts, ripping hid hoodie to reveal his chest. "AHA~ NOT ONLY AM I ON THE SWIM TEAM, BUT I ALSO PARTICIPATE IN MARCIAL ARTS AS WELL!" Travis shouts. Garroth and Laurence burst out laughing. Hope snaps a picture, sending it too Katelyn who wonders how she got her number. "THIS IS SO FUNNY!" "I'M ABOUT TO BURST, THIS GUY IS A RIOT!". "LAURENCE, GARROTH, TAKE OFF YOUR SHIRTS! WE NEED TO SEE  WHO'S MORE FIT! DON'T MAKE ME TAKE THEM OFF FOR YOU!" Travis shouts, jumping onto the two boys. They shouts and try to fight off Travis. "LET ME GO!" "DO YOU EVEN LIFT BRO??" "MY GRANDMAMA GOT ME THIS!" "WHY ARE WE STILL HERE, JUST TO SUFFER.". Rosy and Aphmau, who are still upstairs, look at each other. "What is all that noise?" Rosy asks. "Only one way to find out." Aphmau says. "Guys, are you okay? Is everything alright- AH!" Rosy starts, but shouts when she see's the shirtless guys standing in the living room. "H-Hey girls..." Laurence stutters. "This isn't what is looks like..." Garroth says. "Hey baby~ glad to see you made it too the gun show in time. Look out! POW!" Travis says. Laurence punches him. "THAT IS THE LAMEST JOKE IN THE BOOK!". Rosy bursts out laughing, soon joined by Aphmau. "TRAVIS THAT, THAT IS JUST THE CUTEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD! IT'S SO LAME!" Rosy shouts. "Well...I got her to smile. Score one for Travis." Travis says from the floor. "I hate this guy already." Garroth says. "I WAS DOWN HERE THE WHOLE TIME! NOW, I'M GETTING MY FOOD, AND LEAVING. PERVERTS!" Hope shouts, glaring at the three boys and walking into the other room.
