I'm Losing My Light (Zane x Reader)

Rosy, Aphmau, Hope, Zane and Aaron stood in the lobby of the hotel that was across the street from A-Con. "We're here! A-Con 2017!" Rosy exclaims, looking at all the people walk by. "Is this it? It wasn't what I was expecting." Zane says, looking around. "Pretty small for a convention." Hope adds. "What? Pft, no! This isn't the convention. The convention starts tomorrow! This is the hotel we're staying in." Aphmau says. "Have you ever been to an anime convention, Zane?" Rosy asks. Zane shakes his head 'no'. "Aaron?" Rosy asks. "Nope." He says. Rosy and Aphmau squeal. "You guys are in for a treat! Trust us, you'll have A LOT of fun!" Rosy says. "I can't wait to see what costumes you guys made! We'll wear them tomorrow, though." Aphmau says. "Do we...HAVE to?" Zane asks. "Yeah, I'm not sure how I feel walking around in a costume." Aaron says. "Wheres the fun in NOT though? Loosen up!" Hope says. "Aaron, you walk around with your shirt off half the time, and you say you're not comfortable." Rosy says, rolling her eyes. "...Are you looking at me?" Aaron asks, smirking. "WHAT! YES- I MEAN NO- IT'S NOT LIKE THAT! I JUST SEE YOU A LOT AND YOU JUST HAVE IT AND- SHUT UP." Rosy yells, covering her face. "Should we leave you two alone?" Zane asks, glaring at Aaron. Hope snickers.  "ROSY~SENPAI! APHMAU~SENPAI! HOPE~SAMA!" A high pitched voice shouts. The three girls turn to see Kawaii~Chan. She comes over, seeing Rosy's beat red face. "Is Rosy~Senpai okay?" She asks. "K.C! I've never been so glad for you too interrupt!" Rosy says. "Does Rosy~Senpai need water?" K.C asks her. "No! I'm fine! I'm just glad to see you here at the absime-ANIME convention!" Rosy says, laughing nervously. Zane clentches his fist. "I've never seen her act like this..." He says to himself.  "WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HER AARON?" Zane shouts at Aaron. "Just...admiring her cuteness from afar." Aaron replies, smirking. Zane narrows his eyes. Aphmau's facial expression drops as Hope's laughter rings. "W-What did he say!?" K.C shouts, her shipping craze insuing. "HE SAID NOTHING." Aphmau shouts. "So don't worry!" Rosy adds, laughing nervously. "I said she was cute." Aaron says, shrugging. "I mean, he's not wrong.." Zane mumbles to himself. Rosy whips around to face them. "GUYS, NO!" Rosy shouts. K.C starts to shake. "A-Aaron~Kun and Zane~Kun s-s-said Rosy~Senpai was C-C-CUTE!?" She says. "What's happening? Is she okay?" Hope asks, raising her eyebrows. "Cover your ears." Rosy and Aphmau say in sync. Rosy walks over to Zane, covering his ears for him and vise versa, making him blush lightly. Kawaii~Chan starts to shriek. "AHHH! MY SHIP! I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS, THIS IS AMAZING! THIS IS PERFECT! THEY BOTH CALLED HER CUTE! SO THAT MEANS- Ah, wait...are any of you two...together? Are Aaron~Kun and Zane~Kun staying in the hotel room with us?" She says, calming down. The group uncovers there ears. "Yes, Aaron and Zane are staying in the hotel room with us." Aphmau answers. "Just how many people are staying in this hotel room with us?" Zane asks. "I don't do good with sharing rooms because that ultimately leads to me having to share my food and that's a BIG no no." Hope says, hugging her bag of candy. "Where did you even- nevermind. To answer your question, quite a few. We invited the guys plus Travis, Katelyn and Lucinda, and quite a few others. We have a giant hotel room." Aphmau says. "Won't it get crowded?" Aaron asks. Rosy and Aphmau chuckle. "We always room together whenever we go to a convention. It's so much fun, it's like a giant sleepover for three days!" Rosy says. "Speaking of, everyone else is going to be here soon! Are you girls cosplaying this year?" K.C asks. "As usual! We just have to finish up our outfits before the con starts tomorrow." Aphmau says. K.C gasps. "WHAT! YOU GUYS AREN'T FINISHED!?" She yells. "No, we had a lot going on." Rosy says. "Oh! Well, if all else fails we can go and get Aphmau~Senpai and Rosy~Senpai's maid outfits from work and just put cat ears on your heads!" K.C cheers. "Then we would just be Meif'wa." Aphmau says, giggling. "Right! Kawaii~Chan forgets cat girls already exist! Hehe!" K.C says. "Speaking of, how do you hide your ears and tail when you cosplay?" Rosy asks, her face finally cooling down from before. "Oooooh! Good questions, Kawaii~Chan gets that one a lot! Well, first--Hm...WAIT A MINUTE! ROSY~SENAPI IS JUST TRYING TO CHANGE THE SUBJECT SO KAWAII~CHAN WON'T ASK ABOUT ZANE~KUN AND AARON~KUN!" K.C shouts, narrowing her eyes. "Whaaattt? Psh, I would- I would NEVER! We can talk about them all we want it's just- *gasp* ARE THOSE TWO NARUTO COSPLAYERS OVER THERE REENACTING THE SCENE BETWEEN NARUTO AND SUSKE WHEN THEY KISSED?" Rosy shouts, pointing in a random direction away from her. "WHERE!?" K.C shouts, running away. "NO REALLY, WHERE!?" Hope shouts, pulling out her camera. Rosy slowly backs away, grabbing Aphmau's arm and giggling. K.C turns around. "GET BACK HERE!" She shouts, grabbing Rosy and pulling her back. Rosy sighs. "Kawaii~Chan, PLEASE. We've talked about this whole shipping thing before." She says. "Kawaii~Chan knows...but she can't help it! She wants to see the world fall in love!" K.C exclaims. "We know, K.C, but I just want to date Zane without any pressure being put on us, same goes for Aphmau and Aaron." Rosy says. K.C hangs her head. "Is that too much to ask?" Aphmau asks. K.C still stays silent, turning around. "I guess it is." Aphmau sighs. K.C slowly turns around. "...R-Rosy~Senpai and Aphmau~Senpai said they want to DATE Zane~Kun and Aaron~Kun...?" K.C asks. "N-No! I said we want to HANG OUT with them!" Rosy shouts. "Nice going." Aphmau whispers to her. "Rosy~Senpai didn't say that, she said 'DATE'." K.C says. "It doesn't matter what I said! I just want to be able to get to know someone without having any pressure on me." Rosy says, turning to face Zane who is talking to Aaron. "We don't mind you shipping us with whoever it is, as long as we don't know about it. Can you at least keep the fan girly things to yourself?" Aphmau asks. "Hmm, may Kawaii~Chan please have a moment to get all her fan girling out right now before this convention starts?" K.C asks. Aphmau and Rosy raise there eyebrows. "Okay...?" Rosy says. K.C calmly walks past them, heading towards another part of the hotel. "I'm starting to think you made the whole Naruto thing up- what are we looking at?" Hope says, coming back. The girls shush her and point to K.C who is now standing on a couch in the center of the hotel. She starts screaming, jumping up and down, and fanning her face. Aaron and Zane stop there conversation and slowly turn to face her. The girls turn back around to face them, pretedning not to hear a thing. K.C comes back, her screams dying down. She stops when she's in front of them, a content look on her face. "Feeling better?" Rosy asks slowly. K.C nods. "WHEW! YES! Kawaii~Chan won't say a word about anything to Aphmau~Senpai or Rosy~Senpai about shipping or anything related to it this weekend!" She says. "Good!" Rosy and Aphmau say. Rosy feels a tap on her shoulder and spins around to see Zane close to her. "Hey." He says. "Geez Zane, you scared me!" Rosy says, smiling at him. "Would you prefer I grab your hips next time I approach you?" Zane jokes. "Now what difference would that make! You still scared me!" Rosy answers, pouting. A bunch of muffled shrieks can be heard. She turns around to see Kawaii~Chan biting her thumb and rolling around on the ground. She is about to simultaneously explode. Aaron, who has his arm wrapped around Aphmau's shoulder, walks up to the. "Are we going to stand around here or are we going to check in?" He asks. "Didn't K.C already check in?" Hope asks. K.C nods. "Yep yep! She was just waiting for everyone else to get here, but since you guys arrive early we can head on up to the room! Um...where are your bags?" She asks. "We have them being brought up to the room." Aphmau says. "Great! Then follow Kawaii~Chan to the room!" K.C says, walking into the eleveator.
