His green eyes roamed the room for a table to drink his coffee and for Chiaki to drink her hot chocolate until Hajime spotted a table for two by the window. The Cafe was buzzing with customers, this was the last table left.

"Hajime, we must hurry," Chiaki said lowly, a serious and determined expression on her face whilst she puffed out her cheeks childishly. Hajime chuckled. "This isn't another video game Chiaki," he shook his head with a grin across his face. Chiaki looked up at Hajime with narrowed pink eyes, "Do you want that table?"

"Yes...?"

"Then we must act like its a video game," she whispered intently. Joining in on the fun, Hajime clenched his fist like a determined hero, "Got it."

The two rushed towards the table, zig-zagging around the other tables until they reached it. Game Success!

The two early friends shared a laugh at the strange endeavour, sharing the happiness they both seemed to bring out of one another. Hajime laughed loudly, whereas Chiaki chuckled sweetly.

Chiaki quite liked to hear Hajime laugh and see him smile...

Hajime having calmed down began to take sips of his coffee, sighing at the incredible taste and sinking back into the wooden chair. Chiaki was right, this place really did sell the best coffee.

Chiaki began to slurp at her hot chocolate, and Hajime noticed that she had brought out her gaming device and laid it on the table.

Feeling more comfortable around Chiaki by the second Hajime asked her about it. "Do you take it everywhere you go?" He nodded towards the pink machine which Hajime could tell wanted to be in Chiaki's hands.

Chiaki peeked over her glass of hot chocolate to look at Hajime, her pink eyes bright and cheery at the mention of video games. She placed her glass down carefully as she nodded. "It's essential," was her short response to Hajime's burning question.

"Right," was all Hajime could say. "It's quite...incredible how dedicated you are to gaming. I can't even tell the difference between x and y," Hajime confessed, but now regretted it because what if Chiaki would think less of him now?

Chiaki looked surprised. "Really?" She asked, and Hajime shrugged in reply. Chiaki paused for a moment, looking at Hajime's hands intently. Suddenly, she grabbed one of his hands and brought it to her side of the table, yanking Hajime across so his hips collided against the hard wood. He let out a quiet curse to himself at the pain before looking very bewildered at Chiaki's strange action.

She studied his hands with much interest, gently stroking the lines on his palm then bending each finger slowly. Hajime was...uncomfortable to say the least. He knew for sure his cheeks would be pink. This position felt even more intimate than the time he hugged her to save her from that guy running down the hall!

"It seems you'd be very good at it," Chiaki mused as she stretched out his fingers to see the size of his hand span. Hajime gulped, his eyes widening, his pulse racing, his forehead sweating and most of all his face growing hotter. He stuttered "G-good at what?" and felt like yanking his hand away from her soft grip but as said her hand was so soft he didn't want her to stop being so...caring to him.

It was nice for someone to care for once.

Chiaki glanced up at Hajime with her eyes glowing then went back to studying his hand. "Good at gaming of course," she said with a grin. Finally she let go of his hand and Hajime held it with his other hand in protection.

Note. She likes to be very touchy. Don't let her touch you or you'll go crazy. Got it?

"Why, what did you think I meant?" She asked with her head tilted so her pink fringe covered to top of her eyes.

"I-I don't know..." Hajime said, scratching the back of his head before sighing. "You're very forward you know that?" He said with an embarrassed tone.

Chiaki frowned, "Oh, I'm really sorry," which made Hajime feel like an absolute jerk.

Note 2. Don't make her sad because it feels like the end of the world.

"O-oh, no! It's alright, it was quite funny," Hajime waved his hands in surrender.

Chiaki let herself smile, "Good. If I make you uncomfortable though...tell me?"

Hajime had a dreamy glow in his eyes as he smiled. "You're the first person I've felt this comfortable around in my life."

Realising what he had said, he decided to act like the window beside him was very interesting, trying to point out particular cars he liked to Chiaki.

But Chiaki had heard him.

And she couldn't understand why what he said caused her to feel...something. Something she couldn't put her finger on.

Whatever it was, she liked it.
