"It's all your fault. I knew I couldn't trust you from the day I met you.....You're a dirty /whore/." He spoke, his brown eyes full of rage and hate like never before.
"But....it wasn't like that....Believe me. We thought you were dead." Kate spoke, almost back to her previous nature where she was resigned to this horrendous treatment. Why was she stuck in her old body? Why was she stuck in a body she couldn't speak her true thoughts in? The panic began to set in, quickly.
"You were my wife. You...slept with my brother? I can't fucking believe it! ....All these years.....you wanted him over me. I saw the way you looked at each other. Just admit it!" David spoke, which caused Kate to cringe.
"You said you loved me. But instead, you just wanted to fuck my baby brother. Unbelievable. You're just like Elisa." David spoke, angrily, referring to his ex wife. The mother of Gabe and Marianna.
"No...it's nothing like that. I love Gabe and Mari. I love our kids....I-I love this family." Kate stammered, tears beginning to fall now. She felt trapped, and insecure. Suddenly, it was all coming back to her from years ago when she was with David. It seemed the verbal and physical abuse were constantly etched into her mind.
"You don't love anyone except yourself." David spat, Kate practically shrinking into nothing as she began to literally fall to her knees. David continued on, "Those are /my/ children. You're never going to see them again."
It truly was a horrendous nightmare. Kate began to feel her heart accelerate. Fear and guilt overcame her for being with Javi. Even if it truly did make her feel like the happiest person alive. Losing the kids felt crushing, and she couldn't distinguish the dream from reality. Maybe /this/ was reality.
Kate began to breathe heavily, shaking her head. "N-no, David please! I'm so sorry. It's all m-my fault. You can't take the kids away. Please!" Kate spoke, wishing the words wouldn't come from her mouth now, as she didn't feel in control.
"I'll do /anything/, please."
Kate's voice quivered, watching as David began to grab her by the chin. "Anything? Prove your loyalty, and kill....him. Prove that you mean it. Prove that you love me. Love our family." David growled, hate and rage boiling in his eyes.
Kate, in her dream, still couldn't fathom the thought of even laying a hand on Javi. She couldn't imagine hurting the man she loved. Not if it saved her relationship with David, who, somehow in this dream she loved as well, and the kids. "/No/." Kate spoke, clear as day to him.
"/No/?!" The angry and bitter man asked, growling as he slapped her hard across the cheek. But that was nothing compared to the internal turmoil she was suffering. Kate felt helpless, trapped inside a nightmare that felt more real than anything else.
"I guess I'll just have to do it myself." David spat, moving off from the simple living room in the home in which they lived and bringing Javi back.
In her dream, he was much younger and maybe even more handsome. He looked like he did before the world to shit. Javi was an angel standing next to a man that she considered the devil.
Kate shook her head, her body trembling as she watched Javi. She couldn't look away now. She was captivated by his warm brown eyes. "Kate!" He spoke, reaching like he was going to come to her. But he couldn't, David has his arm around him.
"Javi!" Kate called back, trying to get to her feet. But she felt like she couldn't even move. In her dream, she was paralyzed in fear and terror. All she could do was watch as David stabbed Javi in the back.
"Now...we're even. I needed to stab you in the back...You deserved to know what it feels like." David growled, Kate screaming as loudly as she could as she just extended her arm. She clawed at the air, senselessly.
