CHAPTER EIGHTEEN
MICHAEL
"Can I have a hug?" The question lingered in the air for a moment. Pam stared at us while Malasia did as well, and she was mugging Chloe hard. My mom watched us as well, her hand on her hip and another on a wine cooler. Lai just stared at us with a blank facial expression. I knew if I did this, things would get even more awkward. If I didn't, Chloe would probably draw back and say something I'd end up apologizing to Lai for.
She came in for the hug and I reluctantly wrapped my arm around her small waist. It was small. It had gotten smaller than before and she looked good, but not how it used to. Her curly hair was now cut to her shoulder and bone straight . When we first met, Chloe was dressed more boyish and was more relaxed. Now, her appearance was way more girlish.
I've been keeping myself occupied with this female that I met at the club last week. Yeah, it's not the best place to meet someone but she was different.
We weren't on all that smash shit. Just us, chilling. And I could talk to her about almost everything. My problems with Lai, Adrian, and other stuff. Chloe would listen and give me advice. She was unlike the rest of these fugazi ass females.
It's not everyday you meet someone as down as her.
"What's up," Chloe asked, taking a seat beside me. "Chilling," I replied, turning towards her.
Her curly hair that she always let hang was now up and she was wearing more makeup than usual. It was somewhat cute but I like Chloe when she was without makeup and didn't give a damn about her appearance.
"Why are you looking at me?"
"You look good," I smiled. "Don't say that."
"Why? It's true," I said. "But we aren't like that so we don't give each other those type of compliments."
"All right, damn. My bad," I laughed. "But thank you," she added.
Now she's acting different and I don't like that. Chloe should be thankful that I'm even giving those compliments. Better yet even talking to her.
The door opened and Adrian walked in, saving me an awkward moment. For real.
Neither one of them looked pleased to see each other. Adrian was never happy when I was around other girls. I don't understand why she keeps acting like this when I've already stated that we aren't a couple. Adrian's just a close friend but she's starting to annoy me with this "why are you playing with my emotions" shit.
"Hey, how are you?" Chloe said to her. "Hey. Michael, can we talk? It's important."
Chloe moved, letting me get through to Adrian. We stepped out in the hall and she shot me a glare.
"What does she do?"
"Chill, that's my friend," I said, ready to dismiss this argument. "Friend? You have no respect for me whatsoever."
"Hold up, what?" I interrupted. "Nothing, just lose my number, Michael."
Will do...
Chloe was bending over, reaching for my notebook and it was looking right. All that ass and she isn't taken. Niggas tripping.
She looked back at me, smirking. "Where's your girl?"
"Gone, why you questioning me?" I took a seat, staring at her hips. She wasn't exactly thick but she had it. I could handle it. All this lust made me forgot who I really had my eyes set on.
Lai would probably brush Chloe off but if she saw me looking at her like this then she'd say something. This could be between Chloe and I though. No, I can't even push myself to it because it'd be wrong in so many levels. Technically, I'm single but I don't want to deal with any other females until I find out what I really want with Lai.
Damn, she has me gone, on the real.
"If you're thinking about what I'm thinking about then you need to speak up," Chloe slowly licked her lips.
She had me mistaken though. I wasn't thinking about kissing her. I wanted the P and there's no need for me to stunt.
"I think you're attractive but I have a girlfriend and I can't be sleeping with my friends." "What?" Chloe arched her eyebrow then burst out laughing.
"Sorry but that's not even what I wanted, Tyga," she replies.
I laughed, trying to cover up my embarrassment. You'd think that she wanted me by the way she's coming off but I guess that's just her seductive ways. It got quiet, making me nervous, then Chloe inched closer to me.
"What made you think I wanted to have sex with you?" She asked.
"You were bent over and licking your lips so I thought that you were trying to get into something."
Chloe chuckled. "You know I am not like that. We're just friends, Ty. Right?"
"Yeah, we're just friends," I nodded.
"OK, give me a hug because I have to go now." She stood up and I followed then we embraced one another. I swiftly touched her butt, smirking.
"You're crazy," she shook her head.
"Thank you, Pasionaye, for bringing food." Pam said, attempting to lighten things up.
"Come on, Michael, I want you to meet my mom and dad." We walked off together. Lainni was going to make sure I felt her wrath. Her eyes read that she was angry. Chloe was being disrespectful and I didn't want my woman to feel like I didn't care about her feelings.
"Chloe," I stopped, "It's good to see you again and all but my girl's in there. She don't really like how you approached me."
She frowned, "I'll apologize. I didn't mean to give her any competition. I know wifey can get jealous when she sees her man's eyes roaming. Can you blame for being bad, though? I mean, it just comes naturally."
She seductively licked her lips.
"I know I was acting before but I'm a grown woman now, Michael, not the little, shy wannabe you met in the club. You may be in a relationship but I won't say nothing as long as you don't?" She walked off to go apologise to Lainni as I took a seat in the pool chair.
She was right. Things had changed on her.
1.) That pretty much answers who Chloe is. She's also in the chapter titled DONE on First Queen.
2.) Can my readers see how much I've evolved as a writer? Whoa!
