"Whyyyyy." I groaned out loud as my alarm clock went off signaling that it was 6:00 a.m.. I open today sadly. I stretched and got out of bed. I hope today goes by quickly. I head to my closet an pick out my fitted black skirt with flowers all over it,black tank to match an my jean vest. I go to the bathroom,brush my teeth, and then clean my face. What am I going to do to this head of mine I think to myself as I stare in the mirror. I start to brush it out then decide on putting it up in a bun. I head back into my room an slip on my sandals.

"Jada yo boyfriend outside!" My brother screams up the stairs.

"Dammit Jeremy be quiet!" My mom screams back at him.

I don't know what the hell he's talking about. I walk over to my window and peak out my curtains and see Isaiah outside sitting on the hood of his car. Oh my gosh. What is he doing here?. I hope my dad doesn't say anything. I grab my bag and phone and race down stairs. Before I can make it out the door my dad walks out the his bedroom an says,"Jada Lynette where you think you going with that on?". I roll my eyes an attempt to walk out the door but he grabs my wrist.

"I asked you a question."

"Can you let me go? I'm going to be late for work." I snatch my wrist away an walk out the door leaving him standing there stunned. I see Isaiah talking on his phone he stops talking when he looks up an sees me .

"Ima call you later." He says before hanging up.

"Isaiah what are you doing here?"

"I came to see if you needed a ride." He says looking me up an down.

"Stop staring." I say while giggling.

"Oh! My bad." He flashes his beautiful smile.

"I guess you can give me a ride."

"Good cause I wasn't taking no for an answer." He laughs while I smack his arm. We get in and head to work. The ride was pretty silent until he spoke up a an said,"We still haven't decided on when we're going to the carnival."

"Umm well I have to see when I'm going to be off."

"Don't worry about it. I got you."

"What do you mean?"

"Samantha an I go waaay back. I'll talk to her."

"Oh no Isaiah, I can't ask you to do that."

"No Jada it's okay I'm going to do it. You need this."

"But.. Okay Isaiah."

"Time for work." He says while getting out the car and racing to my side.

"You be good in that skirt today.I don't wanna have to hurt anybody."

"Boy." I laugh as we walk into the mall an get on the escalator.

Today is going to be so long I hope I can make it through the day.

*Lunch Break*

"Jada it's time for your break!!" Samantha yells from the back room.
