When I woke up, I was slumped against the wall. I opened my eyes slowly and spotted Felix staring at me through the bars. I caught his eye and he smiled slightly.
"Hey, (Y/N). So, You're finally awake, huh?" He grinned. "Yeah." I mumbled and sat up properly. My back ached and I felt... ill. It reminded me of the night in the caves.
"You okay?" Felix asked. "No." I thought for a moment before exclaiming, "We're in prison and I'm not staying!"
Before he could respond, I stood up.
"(Y/N).. What are you doing?" Felix asked worriedly. "I don't know." I admitted.
I stretched my back then took a deep breath. With all my strength, I carefully summoned a fireball. I ignored Felix's questions then I aimed the fireball and blasted it towards the bars.
Surprisingly, the bars had no magical protection on them and they just melted away. I bit my lip then once the flames had vanished, I stepped through the huge, rotting black gap. Felix stared at me from afar as I fished through Charming's desk drawers. Eventually, I found a small, silver key and I hoped it opened the cell. I was right.
Felix was still staring at me, openmouthed, as I pulled him out of the cell.
"Shut your mouth, you'll catch a fly." I teased, smiling softly as I walked out of the police station.
"I'm sorry. I just - Wow." He chuckled as he followed me out of the police station. Almost instantly, I pulled him into a narrow alleyway.
"What are you doing?!" He hissed. He had almost fallen over which was funny but I had nothing to joke about.
"From now on - We're wanted. So we need to disguise ourselves." I mused.
"How?" Felix asked. "Unless you know a spell for invisibility."
"No... But I know how to do this." I said before clicking my fingers. The spell had worked just as I hoped and I was now wearing a huge, oversized hoodie which hid me perfectly.
"Damn, You look cute." Felix chuckled slowly. "Shut up." I said sharply. "I have a fiancé." "Yeah whatever." Felix said quietly but I shut him up with a glare.
With another click of my fingers, Felix's otherworldly clothes disappeared and he was wearing a hoodie and jeans. He also wore simple black boots which were identical to mine.
I tied my hair up then put my hood up. Felix put his hood up and we set off.
"Where are we going?" Felix asked quietly, keeping his head down. "Rumpelstiltskin. We need to find him and make some sort of deal. In our short time together, Peter mentioned that Rumpelstiltskin was obsessed with making deals." I replied and my voice cracked as I said Peter's name.
We walked for a while and then I spotted a shop. The sign at the top read Mr. Gold, Pawnbroker and Antiquities dealer.
