Warriors; Into the Jungle (completed)

"Alright. The first one is about to come." Moontail mewed. Rainpaw saw Blackface's belly ripple, and a small bundle slid out.

"Start licking its fur the wrong way!" Moontail directed. As Rainpaw started licking the small bundle, it let out a cry and started breathing. Rainpaw sighed with relief. Soon the second one came to the world, and the process repeated. After a while, four little bundles were out and breathing well.

"Rainpaw," Blackface began. "would you like to help name one?"

Rainpaw nodded eagerly. "Yes please!"

Blackface nodded, "Which one?"

Rainpaw looked at the four little bundles. One of them, a mix of Blackface and Snowcloud, really stood out.

"How about Riverkit for him?" Rainpaw asked, flicking her tail to the blue-black tom with white flecks. Blackface nodded just as Snowcloud burst in.

"Are you okay? Are the kits okay? Do they have names?"

Blackface covered Snowcloud's mouth with her tail. "We're all fine, and the one that looks like both of us is Riverkit."

Snowcloud looked at his son, then he turned his attention to a pure white she-kit. "Icekit for her."

Blackface purred, "And Bluekit for the one that looks like me, and-"

The hoot of an owl cut Blackface off.

"Owlkit?" Snowcloud suggested.

Blackface nodded, and Rainpaw slipped out to leave them some space.

When Rainpaw emerged from the nursery, she was met by a very excited Featherpaw.

"What was it like?"

Rainpaw purred, "Amazing! The names are Riverkit, Icekit, Owlkit, and Bluekit!"

Featherpaw purred happily while Blizzardwind ran in to check on Blackface.

Skypaw felt as if trees were weighing her paws down. She was exhausted. Orangepaw looked just as tired, his head drooped and his paws dragging. Skypaw just hoped that Fuzzypaw and Sweetpaw, the older apprentices, wouldn't pester them about the gathering.

When Orangepaw and Skypaw stumbled into the den, the others seemed to notice the signs, and they closed their open mouths.

Skypaw nearly tripped into her nest, and she closed her eyes.

Sleep came immediately.
