Anna's p.o.v

'Come on you filthy bloodsucker, what's your name?' some guy asked. I spat at him.

'Go to hell,' I smirked. Probably not the smartest thing to do but whatever. Didn't have much to lose.

'Fine, if you won't tell me your name then tell me what you're doing here,' he said impatiently. He stood on my ankle and I heard a loud crack. I screamed, he just broke my ankle. He laughed and I got really pissed off.

'I will tell you if you release me from these chains,' I bargained.

'Over my dead body, bloodsucker!' he yelled.

'Then I'd rather die,' I said without emotion.

'Fine, have it your way then,' he said smirking. He walked towards me with a wooden stake in his hand. He was going to kill me. I screamed.

Will's p.o.v

It was already past twelve at night. Fiona and Fione were doing the best they could with Lily. A large chunk of her side was missing and yes, her wolf healing would help to heal it faster, but it would still take a lot of time and a nerve wrecking surgery.

Fiona ran into the waiting room and smiled. That was a good sign right?

'She's stable, alpha. She'll heal. Just give her some time.' I was smiling from ear to ear. I hugged her.

'Thank you, thank you, thank you!' I almost yelled. My Lily was going to be okay. I couldn't be more happy.

'God, you sound like a girl,' Kaiden said. I chuckled.

'I don't care, you're happy too, admit it,' I told Kaiden. I heard him growl and he shut up.

I walked inside Lily's room and she was all pale and she looked so vulnerable. Her body was connected to a lot of machines with needles and beeps. It was driving me crazy to see her like this. What I have seen from her, she was active, someone who wasn't able to do nothing. But here she was, still, but breathing.

'When will she wake up?' I asked Fiona. My worry took over again and all I wanted to do right now was get her out of here and make her wake up.

'Well the thing is, she's lost a lot of blood and emm...,' she couldn't finish her sentence because she knew I knew.

'And she needs blood from a lynx,' I finished her sentence for her. She nodded.

'She will heal without it as well, but it will take much longer and she won't be as strong as she was before,' Fione added while she walked in Lily's room. I growled. My Lily was hurt and it was all my fault. I shouldn't have reacted like that!

'But alpha, it's best that we let her rest for now. The operation went well and maybe tomorrow we can look for a solution to our problem.' Fiona gestured for all of us to go home. I was tired, but I didn't want to leave Lily.

'Alpha, you're of no use to her if she wakes up tomorrow and you're a total zombie. Go home and get some sleep. She's stable, nothing will happen to her!' Fiona told me and I nodded.

I walked home and got some sleep.

Unknown's p.o.v

I saw them walking home and that's when I jumped out of the tree. They couldn't smell me, I had masked my scent. It took me a couple of years to learn that, but after a while it became easier.
