"He's doing fine sweetheart. Just go to bed," she hums, kissing Brynn on the forehead. Brynn frowns.
"But they stabbed him mom," she sobs into her hands.
"It was all a dream sweetheart. Michael is 100% fine right now. It'll help you if you sleep," she convinces her daughter. She starts to walk away before gesturing for me to follow her. I quickly shuffle behind her as Brynn rests her head on her pillow. As Veronica closes the door, she sighs.
"Who's Michael?" I ask Veronica, and she shrugs. She must be as clueless as I am.
"Well I have two theories. The first one is that he is just a person she created in her dreams. He represents the positives of her life before she moved over here. Megan and the others represent the negatives that tore the positives apart and destroyed it from the inside out. It shows that when 'Michael' got hurt, it tore her apart, but she's holding it back. The other one is that Michael is a real person that she knows but won't talk to me about," she frowns, resting against the wall.
"Why wouldn't she talk to you about him? You're her mom," I bring up a point, making her shrug.
"I don't know. It could be because he was important to her before she left, and she doesn't want to bring that up. That's unlikely though because whenever I ask her about a guy named Michael she always seems clueless," she points out sadly.
"Why would she be so attached to a fake person?" I try to propose, but Veronica shrugs once again.
"I have no idea. Maybe in her dreams they're together or something like that, but that would be obscure since she has a boyfriend," she starts to bring up before going against her own point.
"I have an idea," I bolt up.
"What is it?" Veronica asks with hope in her voice. She wasn't with Brynn while she was growing up, but she still cares for Brynn as if she was.
"I'm going to find out what happened to Brynn in 2017 secretly. When she's gone at the awards show in America, I can figure it out. Once we know what happened, irl be easier to prevent," I tell her my plan, and she hugs me.
"Just make sure she doesn't find out. If so, she'll be pissed off," Veronica warns me, and I roll my eyes.
"Pfft I'm totally stealthy," I say, and Veronica nods,
"Sure you are," she pats my head before turning away.
"Why do you have this picture?" I question, completely confused of why we have a picture of Brynn's troll of a boyfriend framed. His hair is pulled back in a dirty blonde main bun, many hairs being out of place. His eyebrows are thick and he has splatters of facial hair. In all, he looks really messy and dirty, matching his personality perfectly.
"He gave it to Brynn as a present," Veronica informs me.
"He is literally wearing a shirt that is just a shirtless girl flipping the camera off. I will do anything to find Brynn a new boyfriend," I snort, and Veronica laughs.
"We had this same conversation a couple of days ago," she reminds me, but I shrug.
"And my point is still valid. She got the ugly brother, inside and out. Jeremiah is actually a fairly attractive and nice guy, unlike this troll," I defend myself. Veronica rolls her eyes.
"You need to go to bed," she encourages me turning away.
"I will. Goodnight," I hum, but my mind is too busy racing.

Okay, I have something about the Q&A... there are three potential options since I noticed that I can't have people asking Brynn the types of questions that were being commented, so I had to improvise.
1: Still do it but just without Brynn
2: wait until later in the book so I can include Brynn
3: we do one now (like one for the promise) that is still without Brynn AND one later with Brynn
I'll say which one got the most votes next chapter.
