Scared (Harry Styles vampire fanfic)

My eyes went wide when saw....

Harry!!

"Harry?!! you scared me to death!!" I yelled.

Harry looked serious "I thought I already told you that you should not go out at night time! I told you to be safe Emrisse!" Harry yelled back ignoring what I said.

I looked down. why is he yelling at me.. And why does he even care about me.. I heard Harry sigh and he cupped my chin and tilted it up to face him "I'm sorry... It's just that I'm concerned about you and I want you to be safe" Harry said softly.

"Why?" I asked.. looking at him straight in the eye. I probably just need an answer. "we just met, why are you so protective?"

Harry released his hand from my chin and held my hand. I flinched because of the coldness. "I.... just...um... forget about it.. just be safe" Harry tugged my hand and we went to the entrance of the apartment building. We went inside the elevator and Harry started pressing buttons. The elevator went up slowly. I leaned back against the wall of the elevator while Harry is infront of the entrance of the elevator, he crossed his arms on his chest and started tapping his right foot impatiently on the ground. The elevator door opened and Harry grabbed my hand again and we went to our apartment.

Harry turned towards me to face me "Be careful okay? It's dangerous outside at night." he said stroking my arm.

"o-okay" I said. I was about to get in my apartment but Harry spoke

"remember.. we have a quiz tomorrow, you better study." he teased.

I turned around and saw Harry leaning against his apartment door with crossed arm on his chest. I faked smiled "thanks for reminding me that we have an exciting quiz tomorrow" I said sarcastically.

Harry chuckled "goodnight love" he said then turned around to face his door, he opened it and he got inside.

"goodnight" I mumbled to myself. I opened the door and got inside my apartment.

My mom was sprawled on the couch "what took you so long?" she asked.

"I... umm... I was talking to a friend that's all" I said walking upstairs.

"goodnight Emry, love ya" my mom said.

I turn around and smiled warmly at her "goodnight mommy, love you too" . I turn back and walk upstairs to my room. I got inside and I plopped on the bed, I groaned.. great I still need to study for tomorrow.. I hate math, especially Mrs. Jinkins.  I grabbed my bag from beside me and opened it... Oh Man!!! I forgot to bring my math book, my math book is in my locker!!! can this day get any worse! I'm sooooo gonna fail tomorrow.. wait I got an idea! what if I borrow Harry's book... I think that's the only way to study so I'll just borrow.. I grab my phone and swipe on, it's 9:46.. hmmm I think he's also studying today..

I stood up and put my phone in my pocket, I peeked outside the living room to make sure my mom is not there.. She's probably asleep now. I went to our front door and opened it and I went outside, I closed the door... The lobby is so quiet and it's creepy.. I took a deep breath and I knocked on Harry's door.. I heard scrambling noise inside..I was about to knock again but it opened, I look up and down, Harry is wearing a white t-shirt and basketball shorts. When he realized it was me, he smiled "hey, how can I help you?"

"ummm... what are you doing?" I asked nervously.

"I was just studying for tomorrow then you knocked...sooo why are you here?"

"I...umm... forgot to bring my math book and I was thinking if I can borrow but... it-"

Harry interrupted me "no no no I don't mind Emrisse.. do you want to study together?" Harry asked.
