Scared (Harry Styles vampire fanfic)

'Flashback'

'I walk downstairs to the living room "Mom!?" I yelled... No answer. "Mom?!!" I yelled again making it more louder than before.... Still no answer... I walk towards the kitchen and look around.. no mom.

I walk upstairs to mom's room.  I opened the door "Mom?" .I look around... I sighed "where are you mom?..." I mumbled to myself.

I walk downstairs and went to the front door, I opened it and walk out. I hate this. I don't have a load anymore. Then suddenly my phone vibrated from my jean pocket. I grab my phone from my jean pocket. I look at the caller's ID, Mom. I immediately answered it.

"Mom?! Where are you?" I immediately asked her on the phone.

"Em, relax... I just called for you to come here"

"Where? Why?"I asked curiously.

"Just come here.." After my mom told me the address. I immediately wrote it on my hand. Questions are running through my mind...

When I arrived, I observed the huge house first. It was a mansion and it was all white with brown. I then felt nervous. I walk slowly towards the door. I breathed in and raised my  hand, I pressed the door bell. I heard footsteps coming, I just waited. Then the door suddenly flung open, revealing a teenage boy. He was attractive but he's not my type.

He smiled when his eyes landed on me.

"Uhh. Hi?"I said awkwardly.

He smiled and extended his hand to me. I stared at his hand and glanced at him.

"I'm Henry, and you?"

I look down "Emrisse" I mumbled.

I heard him chuckle. I look at him, he drew his hand back.

He raised an eyebrow "So why are you here gorgeous?" he asked.

I blushed "I...uhh.. My mom.. uhh to-"

I got cut off.

"Emrisse! Oh you met Henry!"My mom excitedly said, heading towards us.

Henry turned to look at my mom "Yes, Mrs. Meadows. So this must be you lovely daughter?"  he glanced at me and back to my mom.

My mom smiled widely "She is!"

"uhh... mom?"

My mom looks at me "Come inside Emrisse" my mom said. Wow! She's acting like this is her house.

I look at Henry, he smiled warmly and nodded. I smiled weakly and entered the house. I heard the door close, I look behind me to see Henry closing the door. Suddenly our eyes met, I immediately look back to my mom. "Mom, why are we here?" I asked curiously, looking around.

"Emrisse, this is Henry Cunnings and he's mom is my bestfriend  when we were in highschool.." She said with her happy expression but it soon turned into a sorrow look " But... she died and I never get to say goodbye."She look down and sighed.

I could feel Henry's presence beside me. "oh" I said with no emotion in my voice.

Suddenly, I feel Henry's hand on my shoulder. I turn my head to look at him, he smiled warmly at me. I smiled back awkwardly.

"Anyways! We should  eat now, I cooked  the food with the help of Henry!" My mom exclaimed excitedly.
