Ah D.va, a champion at games and a champion of raging. Yes, you and D.va have been friends since the day you both met but during this time you've been wanting to get something if your chest... It was your love for her but there was never a good time to say it due to missions and what not and also the fact that your the type of person to become a bag of nerves at the littlest of things. Today however was a special day, in fact it was the happiest time of the year, Christmas. All agents was having a massive party to celebrate all of our success in missions and other stuff. You was at the corner of the room talking to Lúcio and Tracer about what you've all got for Christmas and what your plans are for next year, you wanted to tell them what your big plan was to get D.va to love you but even then your too nervous.
"Sooo Y/N, anything special your thinking of doing soon?" Tracer said taking a sip of eggnog. You looked at her.
"Well you see Lena, I've had something on my mind for a very long time but I've never got the right opportunity to say it. Lena, Lúcio, your the only people that will know this but..." You stopped for a second, your nerves where kicking in.
"But what?" Lúcio smiled. You looked around the room to see if D.va was near. She wasn't. You took a deep breath.
"Well... I... I like Hana." The two friends laughed at you. This didn't help you with your courage to tell her your feelings.
"We already knew Y/N. It ain't hard to know that you have a crush on her, it's really obvious." Tracer laughed.
"Does she know!?" You panicked as you went red. Lúcio patted your shoulder with a small giggle left in him.
"No, no she don't know... Yet. If your gonna confess to her your devoted love you should say it today. Y/N this is a great time to open up and forget about your worries and what not. It's a beautiful night, full of joy and laughter and if you ask her to come out and tell her your feelings it would be the perfect set with all the snow and lights of the city and if things don't go well and she says no to you, well at least you gave it a shot." This brightened you up. The friends walked away before saying goodbye to you.
With your hopes up you set out to find Hana. You made your way out of the dining area and into your quarters to prepare yourself. You sat on your bed and wrote your 'little speech' for her. As you was writing you heard a knock at your door. You hoped it wasn't her, if it was you thought your heart would stop. Your way too nervous for this. Oh well. Luckily for you it wasn't, it was another friend of yours, Duncan Jonan. He heard you had a crush on D.va, which was bad news for you. Duncan was type of guy who loves the drama, weirdest and the most stupid moments of the workplace and he was also known for spreading anything he could get his hands on to everyone. He had a smirk on his face.
"So you have a thing for Hana eh?" Your dying inside.
"Don't worry mate I ain't gonna tell anyone else. I'm here to help ya with what I see is a speech?" He walked inside.
"Yeh it's a speech Duncan, I can't really think of any other way to show her my feelings." Duncan sat down and laughed.
"Well for a start you can get rid of that speech. I don't really know Hana that well but do know that she won't like that. You see Y/N, a girl like Hana ain't easy to impress, but lucky for you I know my way around a girl. Hana is a gamer we all know that, if you want her attention I would recommend that you text her first. Also, when you do get her attention don't be a nervous wreck like you always are. Take. It. Easy. Now, once you get talking talk about stuff that revolves around her lifestyle, you know like games, anime whatever make her feel special." He continued to give you advice until you had enough of it.
"Alright already I get it. Anyway, how do you know all this stuff you don't have a girlfriend... do you?" Duncan looked at the door before moving closer to you. He had a little grin on his face before he talked to you again.
"Right, your the only person who's gonna know but I do have a girlfriend. If you really want to know who it is then I'll tell ya. It's Sombra." Your jaw dropped. Of all people he could've had it had to be Sombra.
"Really! Wow but why don't tell the others? Shouldn't they know?."
"Well it ain't that simple Y/N. Sombra and I need to keep a low profile with our relationship. If the wrong people found out about it, it could cause some serious problems. Some due to our past. That's all, I trust you to keep this secret."
"I will friend." With that said Duncan got up and left the room. You did what he said and began texting Hana. It took around 20 minutes before she told you where she was, she was outside on the balcony.
"This is it." You thought before making your way out. Along the way you saw the rest of the group having a laugh with each other. Duncan saw you making your way out but he shouted for you.
"Hey Y/N good luck!" Everyone else gave their best wishes towards you. You knew he couldn't resist but tell everyone.
"Thanks. Prick." You mumbled before seeing her. She was on her phone as usual. She was so pretty you could feel your heart beating fast and faster. You took a few steps forward before talking to her. She turned around.
"Oh hey Y/N! You wanted to tell me something?" You took a deep breath and stood next to her and said,
"Hana. There has-has been something o-on my chest for a while n-now. Hana I... Like you. I re-really like you and I've never been great at talking to people like this bu-" You was interrupted by her laughing loudly. It was so cute.
"Y/N, I know what your trying to say and I like you too but... Not quite in that way." Your heart stopped. With that Hana left you outside. You began to tear up as you leaned on the rail. A few minutes later you got a text from her. It read,
Jk! I really like u 2! I didn't want to tell you as the others where looking. Hope u didn't get too upset. Sorry if you did. By the way, do u want to a live stream with me? Gtg now. I love you!!! Xxxxx
With that you looked up to the sky and sighed of relief. Maybe your luck is finally beginning to turn. But that was really mean to do that though you ain't going to lie. But, your happy and that's all that mattered to you. Duncan saw you and smiled. Sombra came up to him with an angry look on her face.
"You told him didn't you?" Duncan's smile quickly went and his eyes widened. Well, at least your night went well.
