Your roommate stared at you awkwardly. "Your type? What the hell does that even mean?" You shrugged. "Never mind. Forget I said that."
A moving van was parked outside your apartment building. "Looks like someone's moving in. Weird. I could've sworn this place was full." You thought about it. "I guess someone moved out. I wonder who it could be!" Your roommate looked worried.
"Y/N, what's gotten into you? You never get excited about new people!" She put a hand on your shoulder. "Do you think it's that kid?" She said in a low voice."Yeah. Ever since that dream this morning it's all I can think about." You sighed. It started to rain. How cliche, you thought.
"Hey Y/N, Rain means hot chocolate!" Your roommate said. You smiled. "Yeah... I guess it does."The day hadn't really been all that interesting. Well, besides the fact that you couldn't get your mind off that boy. What if he was actually moving here?
"I'm going out for a walk." You decided. Your roommate gave you a thumbs up. "Ok Y/N. Don't forget your umbrella though." She handed it to you and you went outside.
It was pouring.
"Thank god F/N remembered my umbrella." You said. There wasn't many people around. After a few minutes of walking around you decided to stop at a nearby coffee shop. You ordered your favorite drink and sat down. It tasted ok. You doodled a drawing of the crown you saw on a napkin. Why were you so obsessed with it all of the sudden? Someone leaned over your shoulder to look at the drawing. "Huh, I saw a crown like that years ago." They said. You bolted up.
You turned around to see a man with brown hair and glasses. "Oh my god..." You whispered. The man looked confused. "Umm, did I startle you?" He asked. You couldn't say anything else. It was the boy.
"Hey... it's hard to explain, but I think we've met before. You wanted this crown, it was displayed at a museum." You said. His eyes widened. "I still do." He cleared his throat, then held out his hand. "Simon Petrikov." He said.
"Y/N L/N." You shook his hand.
"Hey Y/N, want to meet up later? Sure it's sudden, but I want to get to know you. You seem like my type." Simon asked. You had said the same thing about him this morning.
"Sure." You smiled awkwardly. You realized your drink was finished. "I guess I'm done here. When and where should I meet you?" You asked.
"How about here tomorrow at 10:00?" Simon suggested.
"Ok. See you then Simon!" He gave you a thumbs up and you left the building. You burst into your apartment, scaring your roommate to death. "I met the guy at a coffee shop!" You yelled.
"Really? What are the chances of that?!" She said. "We're hanging out tomorrow!" You added."You're already going on a date?!" Your roommate's eyes widened.
"No! What the heck?" You replied. Your roommate just laughed.
"Man, I wonder when I'll get a boyfriend." She teased."Shut it F/N."
