I smiled, but my sister was clearly shocked to see me.
"Hi.... Jasmine, I was just wondering if I could, um.... Get some stuff."
She looked at me then smiled. She pulled me in for a hug.
"Are you ok, where have you been?"
I smiled at that since when did she care about how I was led alone where I was living now.
"I'm fine, yeah. I'm living with my boyfriend and his family."
My sister looked like someone had just thrown something at her. She glanced over at Scarlett.
"Is that your horse?"
"Well, I didn't steal it. It's mine."
She smiled.
"Haven't gotten rid of your things yet. Come take what you want."
She opened the door for me to come in. I brushed my feet on the welcome mat before I stepped inside. As she shut the door she whispered too me.
"Quiet, don't want mum to know you are here."
I looked at her and she answered the question I hadn't even asked. Sisters.
"Because your custody states you can't come back here. Quickly come."
She lead me down to my old room. She pulled a few bags and suitcases out of my cupboard.
"Pack what you want, I have to get rid of your stuff anyway."
She sat down on my bed, then bit up again.
"You have like half an hour. Mums asleep so make it quick. I'll um be down the hall don't leave your... Room... Ok?"
I nodded at her.
"Sure."
I started to get to work on my room straight away. I packed the majority of my clothes, and all my shoes. Then a few other belongings. Toys from when I was younger, photo albums, personal belongings that were in here.
Then I came across a few photo frames, they had pictures of my dad in them. I took them, my dad left when I was 7, he was the best. But my sister and mum never acted like they cared.
I cared though.
I haven't heard from him since he left, no mail, no calls, no nothing.
"Come on let's go."
My sister said as she walked in. She had some personal hygiene things with her. Tampons, pads, condoms, deoderant...ect.
She put them in one of my bags then checked the hall way, I guess making sure mum wasn't awake yet.
"Let's go, come one."
She grabbed a few bags and I grabbed the rest, and we quickly left. I had no future here, my future was back with Jacob. Oh with Jacob! He didn't know exactly where I was, well no one did actually.
We walked out the front and my sister helped me put my bags on Scarlett, I used the lead I had and some other ropes that were in the saddle bag, to secure my bags and tie them down.
She ran back inside and to my surprise came back with an apple, which she fed to Scarlett.
"I'm happy you came back to get your stuff."
"Why's that?"
I said as I checked that everything was tied tightly.
"Because your my sister, and like mum I couldn't come to throwing your stuff away. It would break me apart."
I gave her a hug, and she gave me a kiss on the cheek. She handed me a piece of paper from her pocket.
I unfolded it and looked at it, it had her phone number on it, and email address.
I looked up at her and smiled and she gave me another hug.
"I'm sorry, Annie I truly am. But it was great to see you again. Keep in touch hopefully."
I climbed onto Scarlett, and waved goodbye to her, this was emotional. Weirdly enough I was crying, only slightly. I waved goodbye to her.
"I love you Annie!"
She yelled out as I left the drive way.
"I love you too Jamsmine!"
Then I was gone, down the road. As far as I knew I may never see her agian.

I brought Scar up to the house and started to untie my bags from Scarlett's back.
"Thanks girl. I'll put you away in a moment. I just have to take these inside."
I walked into the house and placed my bags down then raced back out and put Scar away. Locking her up safely I ran back to the house where my bags were. No one had touched them luckily, or even seen them. I quickly but quietly took them up the stairs, leaving the next to Jacob's closed door. Going back down to get the rest.
I opened the door and saw that Jacob was awake and getting dressed.
"Where do you go?"
I pulled some of my bags into his room, and he looked at me. Concern, worry, love all in his emotion.
"You didn't?"
I smiled at him, and brought the rest of my stuff in.
"Yeah, I did. I had to. Every part of me was back there. All of my old life Jacob."
I said as I put the bags in the corner of his room.
"What part out of your old life could you possibly want to keep?"
"My father. He was there for me, although he left us. He loved me. They drove him away. Just like they did me."
I sat down on the window seal. Jacob came up behind me.
"How did you get there?"
"I rode Scarlett."
He pulled me in for a hug. My back against his chest. He put his head on my head.
"This isn't good."
"I had too. Once I saw the street names I knew my way."
I turned around to face him as he paced the floor.
"Did you break in?"
I laughed at that.
"No, my sister let me in."
"Did your mum see you?"
"No she was asleep. I didn't want to see her any way."
"You know that was illegal, right?"
"It was break and entering. Nobody told me about how I wasn't aloud to go there. Or about anything really. There was a loop of it, and I wasn't in it. She let me in. If she didn't want me in there, or knew the rules herself she wouldn't have let me in."
Jacob sat down on the bed, covering his eyes with his hands.
"Dads going to kill me."
"Your dads gonna kill me, not you."
I walked over and sat next to him. There was nothing to do but let this sink in. For everybody.
