Misunderstood

Authors note: did you cry in the last two chapters? I did, while I wrote it. Doesn't that just show true love. How Jacob wanted to be there for her even when he wasn't aloud. He made decisions based on her, what a gentlemen. Hope you enjoy the next few chapters.

Annie POV

I opened my eyes slowly, having to blink to keep them from closing. In the short amount of times I could see through my opening and closing eyes I saw doctors rushing around me and speaking to me. Except, I couldn't hear them.

"What?"

I said quietly but it was more like a whisper then anything, to be honest I didn't think they heard me. Until one of the doctors walked up from behind the crowd and looked at me smiling. She waved at me, she must have known about my hearing.

She turned around and faced all the male doctors, I am assuming she told them to leave because after a few huffs and puffs they all left.

I let my eyes close slightly, the I felt something touch my arm. My eyes opened slowly and I looked at her. She was trying to keep me awake.

She tried to speak to me, but again I couldn't hear her. So, I just shook my head and closed my eyes briefly. She touched my arm again, I think going to sleep is what she didn't want me to do.

She walked over to a desk and got out a clipboard and pen. She started to right on it, then held it up to me.

Can you hear what I'm saying?

She passed me the board. I looked at her, then I wrote my answer.

No, not a thing.

I passed it back and she read it quickly then wrote another note.

How do you feel?

I feel tired.

Don't go to sleep, please.

I'll try.

As I passed the board back to her it dawned on me that I had met her before. I started thrashing in my bed trying to get up. But I was tied down. Out of no where I had the energy to thrash around.

She scribbled down on the board again.

What's going on?

She knew it was a risk, giving me a pen and board while I was like this.

You, your from my night mare. You are a vampire!

She looked at it, then shock set in on her face.

I'm not a vampire, you were in a terror. A night terror.

How do I know your not lying?

I was scared now, and if I was pregnant... Well this would have done no good for my baby.

The look on her face showed that she was worried. She smiled then wrote down on the board.

I can get you another doctor if you wish, but first I can bring Jacob in for you. Will you be able to hold on until I get him?

I nodded at her, but still wrote my answer.

Yes.

She stood up then walked to the door and slipped out. A few moments later she opened the door back up and Jacob came in. She was talking yo him but I couldn't hear what she was saying. Jacob nodded then sat down by my side.
