Virgil POV

Roman and I stayed awake the whole night. It doesn't matter because we don't need sleep, and the most important thing is that Y/N is safe.

"Hey, Roman?"

"Yeah, Virgil?"

"We should be on look out today. You know, for... him."

"That sounds like a good idea." Roman walks over to Y/N's bed and pokes her. "Good morning, princess."

"Good morning, Mr. Roman!" Roman lifts Y/N up and holds her. "And Mr. Virgil!"

"Hey, kid." I say. "You hungry? Thomas and Patton must be cooking something by now."

"Yay!"

Y/N POV

I ran downstairs as fast as I could. I was so hungry! Maybe Mr. Thomas and Mr. Patton were making pancakes!

As I'm running down the stairs I trip on Mr. Virgil's jacket. I forgot I was wearing it.

I almost slipped and fell down the stairs, and I would've fallen if Mr. Patton hadn't appeared in front of me and caught me. I never knew Patton could just appear like that. Usually, Mr. Virgil is the only one who does that. The others appear, but not suddenly like Mr. Virgil does.

"Woah, kiddo, slow your roll!" He says, but in a weird tone. "Wouldn't want you to SLIP up there, would we?"

"No, Mr. Patton." He picked me up.

"Thomas is making breakfast, and I think Logan is in there having a little chat with him. Would you like to play until it's time to eat?" He asks me.

"Ok, Mr. Patton! Can we build a pillow fort?"

"Of course we can, kiddo! That sounds like loads of fun!" Mr. Patton says, still with that weird tone. I've never heard him talk like that before.

"May we join you, Patton?"

I look and see Mr. Roman and Mr. Virgil on the stairs above.

"Sure! The more the merrier, right, Y/N?"

Mr. Patton is acting really weird today.

"Of course, Mr. Patton!"

Thomas POV

"I hear the others outside the kitchen. They must be building a pillow fort again or some other type of infantile activity." Logan says.

"Yeah." I say, a bit distracted as I'm making breakfast.

"Thomas, I feel like you should know something. There are other sides like Roman, Patton, Virgil, and me, but with more... dark intentions."

"What do you mean?"

"I feel like you might be meeting one of the other, darker sides today." Logan says in a more serious tone than usual. "I can tell you if you would like me to disclose that information. If not, you may wait for another occasion. That is entirely up to you."

"I think I would rather wait, Logan. I don't want to worry, especially so that I don't worry Y/N." I say.

"Alright then. If you would like to learn more about yourself, you may always ask me."

"Thanks, Logan."

"No trouble at all, Thomas." Logan says. "I think I'll go study Patton's pillow fort making strategy."

"Ok." I say. "Have fun."

"Hmph." Logan chuckles a bit and walks out to join the others.

Other sides. Darker sides? I didn't know that I HAD any dark sides, but I guess I shall meet them when the time comes.
