Y/N POV

I woke up to Toby jumping off my bed and running around my room.

"Toby, come!" I command gently, while patting my lap.

Toby jumps on the bed and starts licking my face. He's more hyper and excited than he normally is.

"Do you want to go for a walk?" I ask. Toby immediately runs out of my room and comes back a minute later, holding his leash in his mouth. I attach the leash to Toby's collar, and we walk downstairs.

To my surprise, the only one that seems to be awake is Mr. Thomas. Usually, that wouldn't be surprising, but the others are usually awake as well.

Mr. Thomas looks up at me.

"Good morning, Y/N!"

"Good morning, Mr. Thomas!" I reply.

Mr. Thomas looks down and sees that I'm holding Toby's leash.

"Did you want to take Toby for walk?" He asks.

"Well, Toby woke up and seemed restless, so I thought it would be good for him." I explain.

"Well, luckily, they built a new dog park not too far from here." Mr. Thomas says. "You go get dressed, and I'll go get ready, too." Mr. Thomas tells me.

I nod and quickly run upstairs with Toby to get dressed. I decide to wear a comfy, (F/C or favourite colour), short(ish) dress and matching sneakers.

I run back downstairs and see that Mr. Thomas is already waiting for us. We leave the house and start walking to the dog park.

Virgil POV

As soon as we hear the door close, we all let out a sigh of relief.

"Okay, is everyone clear on the plan?" I ask.

"Yeah, sure, kiddo, but how long do you expect Thomas to keep Y/N busy?" Patton asks.

"We only need a few hours." Roman interjects. "I'll get started on decorations. Virgil, you're taking care of wrapping the presents, right?"

I nod.

"Which should leave Patton and I with the cake." Logan says.

"Great. Now all we need to do is hurry." I realize.

"Patton, how long should the cake making process take?" Logan asks. "I feel like that would be the thing that takes the longest."

"It shouldn't take more than a few hours. Maybe 3-4 hours will be good enough." Patton says.

"Okay. Let's hurry. We can't let Y/N see the surprise before it's ready." Roman says.

With that, all of us run to our posts. Roman decorates the living room and kitchen, Patton and Logan are making the cake in Patton's room, and I'm wrapping presents.

I warp up to Logan's room and grab the presents. Then I go into Roman's room to grab the wrapping paper and tape before heading into my room to get started on wrapping presents. There were five presents in all. One from each of us.

The first gift was from Roman. He got some sparkly patches for Y/N's karate gi and some really pretty earrings. We took Y/N to get her ears pierced not too long ago, so in a couple of months, she can wear them.
